No they aren't. CSX is actively tearing out the sidings on it.

Do you want to be positive they are coming back in service they took out the concrete slabs and replaced it with asphalt all my friends at school saying they’re coming back in service and plus you don’t know everything

This was abandoned in 2016, diamond was cut up at Odin and Rail was rolled in Caseyville. CSX decided it didn’t need it’s Illinois Sub at the time, so it is railbanked.

no it is not abandon it is used for storage i know it

I know I’m right one time was at recess and I seen the train come by in the saddest moment of my life was I heard it was going to be out of service or not really the saddest moment but I was mad

i go to school there im in high school now in like 2015 i seen that in use in 2016 than it was out of service it is used for storage

Yea. It's a shame the line is no longer in use on this part. (And throughout most of the rest)
