tbh they probably could’ve adjusted the mechanic to be a gen 6ish thing, with only 3 spots that randomly rotate, and are constantly available. with that it’s babied down enough for the gen but still gives it an actual mechanic. if it were to have a gym i think it’d need to be available constantly instead of on a time based system, it’d cause to many problems with younger players. just my thoughts

Don't forget that the Noble Avalugg is also Wardened by Gaeric who is implied to be Wulfrics Ancestor. Would also explain where Noble Avalugg went instead of just becoming dormant.

@@jvbon646Um you know that ho-oh has literally red on itself and lugia also like ho oh has a red/blue colored face. Also the theme of lugia being a guardian of the sea could be associated with blue and ho oh's entire burned tower thing being red.

@@bigchungus7870 I don't think you understand what TTar was talking about in the video Yes, *all* cover Legendaries so far can be linked as "Red" or "Blue", even Zekrom (Blue) and Reshiram (Red). And yeah, Ho-oh amd Lugia have Red/Blue, but that's not the point What TTar states in the video is that ever since Gen3, GameFreak have been switching the order of the colors between version. That's why the "leak" said "Red is primary, and Blue is secondary" even tho Blue is a primary color tho. Ut's because he was reffereng to the order, "red primary" cuz is the 1st name, "blue secondary" cuz is the 2nd name in the pair. In one Gen the 1st name is "Red" and the 2nd is "Blue", and by the next Gen they'd switch it to be "Blue" 1st and "Red" 2nd. Like I said, Gold and Silver are the only exceptions if you list all of the games from Gen1 to 9. Red/Blue_________R-B Gold/Silver________R-B Ruby/Sapphire_____R-B Diamond/Pearl_____B-R Black/White_______R-B X/Y_____________B-R Sun/Moon________R-B Sword/Shield______B-R Scarlet/Violet_____R-B All the New Gens fall in that pattern except Gen2, hence why it was "started by RS". The issue is how the guy worded it. “Noibat’s/Noivern’s similarities to Woobat/Swoobat aren’t a coincidence,” like no one was thinking those two lines were similar to begin with, outside of being bats. I don’t think anyone was trying to theorize about any beta content or scrapped lore between them either. He could’ve just said “Noibat/Noivern were originally planned to appear in Gen 5 as one of many bat designs they came up with” or something like that instead, before elaborating. It kinda takes away from his credibility.

If it does return, I'd want both the form change and the original effects of the Battle Bond ability. I've never liked that they retconned it in both the games and the anime. I have no idea if the retcon affected the manga.

If there isn't Ash Greninja, they would do something different like AZ Greninja or even new regional forms for Greninja.

they did return Scald back in SV's DLC before it was removed for every mon except Volcanion so I could see the possibility

whose shiny do you like more? as I think Gen 6 had the best shiny mons in its entire pokedex and Gen 6 is where all 3 starters got goated shinies and it was good till Gen 8 until Gen 9 made starter's mid again

I was gonna say, even if you don't generalize the colors (pink to red and orange to red, though pink is still red lol), each gen except gen 2 and gen 5 (first half doesn't, but second half technically does with B2 using blue accents and W2 using red accents) uses either red or blue as one of the primary colors of the games. Also interesting to note is that the 3rd versions, Yellow, Crystal (pale blue color), Emerald (green), and Platinum (gray but with red accents), basically give us the 4 basic colors every kid is taught in kindergarten or equivalent. Even with the overlap of Yellow, it matches gen 1's main series game releases too if you include Japan.

I wouldn't necessarily count such a small detail as the Pokemon's eye colors in counting the games as being related to RB/BR. The better thing to look for is the logo since it stays unchanging, shiny Pokemon could technically ruin the schemes of any of these super easily (ex. shiny Lugia being pink/red). I think it's more accurate to say the games pairings are warm toned or cool toned, which makes it so you don't have to stretch RB as colors to fit Gold & Silver. Even with that said, BW is truly the only game that "broke tradition" by not being RB or warm/cool toned because they're actually shades (not colors), and by not adding color, it's impossible for them to be said warm/cool toned. B2W2 keeps the tradition due to the "2" and the art behind it and to the left of it on the logo being clearly blue or red. You could say the same about Silver specifically since it is gray. However, it's a specific gray, the metallic kind, which inherently has cooler tones to it due to the metallic properties (hence why people use it and gold to match their skin tones). Hard to capture the look of metallic objects without the use of color in art, elsewise the result is just...gray.
