I made two of these for my grandchildren, filled with marshallow eggs for Easter and gave that to them (via their parents) on Tuesday before New Zealand went into full close down for the Covid-19. Thanks for the inspiration, Ruth Read

Bairbre Hickey Just watching is very therapeutic & is indeed a distraction from the current state of affairs , so too is crafting, just think of all those cards, boxes, projects etc. you will have to catch up on when all this passes, as indeed it will pass, try to take advantage of this situation even if it’s for just half an hour a day, it beats doing the ironing/housework any day of the week 😉 xxx

@@BarlowSmith, I echo what Carol had said, remember this will all end, it's scary now but if we all follow the advice, we will be ok, it may take time but we will get throw this. Try to relax your mind even with some simple colouring or stamping, the worrying will cause stress and that's not good for you, so please try and relax and try turning off the news. 😘

Hi, Sam, made this box with my 10 year old daughter - I cut, she glued and decorated. It turned out amazing (though not quite as neat as yours). Filling it with treasures was, of course, our favorite part. The friend who recieved the box, loved it. thank you for such amazing tutorials.

I have just made 2 for our twin granddaughters and will fill the with coloured beads with elastic so they can make bracelets and also chocolates and other goodies. I have really enjoyed making these and thank you for sharing 😍

Hi from Michigan USA. I love all your cute box ideas. I will need to make this soon. Keep them coming. My state has over 1,000 cases. Some are getting a little closer to my neck of the woods. Self isolating, but do need to get out for more supplies. Keep safe and God Bless.

Love love love this, I've been Coronacrafting, have COPD so staying in, since my immune system is compromised. If your concerned about the tabs to open having bulk you could use the 1/2 in. circle punch to make the thumb pull on the box. You can also cut a small circle or oval on center of handle to make it easier to hold, Velcro just on either side of it. Love all your 3d projects and have made many of the totes/purses. Thank you so much for your inspirations.

Hi Sam, Thank you for this amazing treat Box I have almost finished making my first one, just got to decorate the belly band and fill with the Teacakes ,I managed to find yesterday, I have only just discovered your tutorials,and find them oh so easy to follow, these will keep me occupied for a good while if I have to self isolate at this uncertain time we are going through, Keep safe EVERYONE

I am working on my second one now. I used 8-1/2 x 11” paper and just changed the score line for the boxes to 2-1/16” from each side of the 8-1/2” side and left everything else the same. Worked great. Oh, and my card stock was a little thin so I put a piece of chipboard in the bottom of each box for a little added strength.

This is such a fun box. I love the added tinsel. I love the idea of a belly band. This way you can decorate the boxes in neutral colours and the go all out on the belly band for any occasion. Brilliant Sam! Thank you for sharing

Hello Sam, this is a brilliant idea. I'm confined to barracks for the duration and cannot get out to the shops but I have one or two ton of paper and card so can make some for Halloween and Christmas. Unfortunately I don't have enough Easter additions to make them for this Easter, but I'll enjoy doing them for my stash for occasions later in the year. I made loads of your Tunnocks Halloween boxes last year but 8 Tunnocks at a time is even better lol. x
