ah yes, pigments. not too many people really understand what a pigment is, it's not just a powder or ink. they come from specific materials from pretty much anything. if the material they got the pigment from was put into plastic, it changes the physical composition and integrity of the plastic. it's a shame i couldn't find the specific materials used and why it interacted w plastic like that.

6:36 I know Lego had a period in the 2010s where brown pieces specifically were very prone to breaking I think because they tried making them out of a different material. I had a couple sets as a kid that I sold a few years ago and the brown pieces were all brittle and easily broken after years.

For those that don't know....0:33 is most likely the Walmart at Steelyard Commons in Cleveland, Ohio. It's rated one of the worst Walmart's in the country and has absolutely insane Jar Jar Binks level human interactions and stories that come out of that place. There was even a mockumentary about people getting abducted and murdered there. Seriously, look it up. If it's an insane Walmart video, it most likely came from there.
