Point in this story is that it really doesn't matter when Jesus' birth is celebrated, it's not one of the big seven prescribed festivals (neither is Hanukkah (sp?)). Hanukkah came after the Maccabees. It's relatively new compared to the prescribed 7 feasts. I'm not into the materialistic and worldly nature of today's Christmas holiday, but I'm always in favor of worshipping Jesus on any day, including Christmas. It's also a wonderful time of the year to tell others the gospel of The Messiah Jesus! Eh?
