This is my full tour and review of the fabulous new Fontainebleau hotel resort and casino on the Las Vegas strip! I stayed overnight in a gold king strip best view bedroom on the 56th floor. The room and the views were fantastic!
My name’s Scott and in this video I’m going to give you an inside look into this 67 story luxury resort that cost over $3Bn to complete. I’ll give you a tour, including the entrances, the lobbies, the artwork, the theater, the shops, the bars and restaurants, and even the pool deck. And I’ll show you my hotel room on the fifty sixth floor. Spoiler alert… the views from up there are incredible.
In December 2023 Las Vegas welcomed its newest property to the strip, and it’s stunning. I never thought much of the building while it was lying empty, but to see it finished and with lights on at last, it’s transformed. It’s a striking building, not least because it’s the second tallest building in the state of Nevada. The nearby Stratosphere tower is the tallest overall, but the Fountain Blue is the tallest occupiable building and is quite a bit taller than Resorts World which opened back in 2021.
The design and decor is inspired by or sometimes directly copies from the seventy year old Fountain Blue, like these columns, pretty much identical to those in the lobby of the iconic Miami Beach hotel.
We ate dinner at Don's Prime a fabulous classic style steakhouse with modern updates. The food and service were both amazing.
Thank you to Marshall Gerometta and Terri Meyer Boake of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat for the use of their photos while the Fontainebleau was under construction. You can find more on www.skyscrapercenter.com/
Most of the video is my own, with some other video from Envato or the Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
