As I was slipping into bed, I noticed a cockroach in the pillow I was going to use. Shocked, and wanting proof, I grabbed my Samsung Galaxy S4 nearby and recorded the incident. This was at the Wingate by Wyndham in St. Charles, MO on 9/18/2015. I notified the front desk, and the lady working it asked me what I wanted them to do about it. I suggested they hire an exterminator and asked for a discount. She was unable to grant a discount since it required management approval and I had purchased the stay online. She suggested I speak with the manager, who would arrive at 9am the next day. However, my friends and I left early to bicycle along the Kay Trail that day and didn't come back to the hotel until late. Upon arrival in my room on the second night, I found a note stating that the sheets had been changed. The following week, I called the manager to discuss the matter, but he was not there. So, I left a message and have not heard back. Apparently, this was not an isolated incident; friends down the hall found a cockroach in their room as well.
