Im from Wisconsin. I heard about Unwound from a really close friend of mine a few short years ago. I was in a car with him. He wasnt driving, but had control of the stereo. He put in; "Repitition", and almost immediately, I was like; "What is this? This is really fucking good". He said; "Oh, this is a band my parents showed me. They're called Unwound. When I first heard them, I thought they were just really weird and awkward. But Ive started to like them. They're pretty good." I loved em when I heard them. Ended up researching them, and buying every album I could find. And I must say, this was really cool to see!

you cant imagine how happy seeing this footage makes me. i discovered this band (finally) two days ago. i heard Sara Lund talking about it and thought i should check them out....Amazing ....

Was only lucky enough to see Unwound once. 1996 if my mind serves correct. Godheadsilo was supposed to play too but didn't. Matt Deline from Shotmaker gave me a mix-tape some years before with Unwound on it amongst others. I was so glad when I finally got to see them

aw man i was definitely at this show. just got dumb nostalgic watching this. first time i saw unwound it was because a fifteen show was sold out at i think the macondo. made our way over to the jabberhaw. this band changed my life. thank you for this video.

I know I said I'd post more and I will. It involves me renting a hi-8 to usb or firewire machine from a place downtown. I work 6 days a week, and have band practices after work so it's been hard to find the time to do it. I WILL do it, and I will make sure to email you when I do so you don't have to keep checking my account for new uploads. Fair enough? I have a second Jabberjaw show from unwound I filmed too.

Was at this show. Incredible that I found this on yt. Thank you for putting this up. God I remember I was scared shitless being in this part of town. Drove about an hour from Ventura and south central LA was quite the culture shock. Who ran the Jabberjaw and what happened to them? I loved the place.

i think this is a couple tours after the fake train record. i remember going to an unwound show at jabberjaw around the time of the 3rd record and they opened with dragnalus and it was unexpected and mind blowing. I'm not sure, but this may be the performance.
