I wanted to sew up this set and what better way to try a new pattern than re-purposing something old. I grabbed a t-shirt and a shower curtain from the thrift store and got to it!!!

Dianna…. Are you still teaching full time ??? I do too. And I wonder how you manage your time for work, family, sewing for E&M, and maintaining both channels and sewing for yourself??? I struggle to balance teaching, and my family/home, on top of my sewing classes and my pleasure sewing ! I stay so tired!!!

Hi! I teach part time. I sew when I get up in the morning as I have a couple of hours before I have to go into work. I have to be really disciplined or I won’t get anything done haha

I love this tutorial. Thank you! A question about the tshirt that you used. . .did it have lycra in it so that you could use it for the bands? Would a plain 100% cotton tshirt have enough stretch to do the bands?

Jessica’s link isn’t working…nice tutorial though! I love how you just switch gears if you make a mistake- like adding an extra seam! Those “mistakes” can often become design elements 😉
