Bass Tom Kinniburgh tells of a group of Somerset folk, visiting London to see a military revue. Proud of their county, proud to be British & proud to be subjects of King George V. Mary however is overcome by shyness, being the namesake of the then Queen! The song was written around 1913 (lyrics available on the 'net) but the record label is mid 1920's.
