I lived in Khatib from 1987 to 2015, for almost 30 years. Only 20 mins to orchard road, east side and west side. I saw first hand it’s transformation, even better than Marine Parade. Have been living very near the city centre since. Big mistake. Gota get back to where the heart, makan and scenery is @Khatib

The entire country is special to all living in it. Attachment to a particular spot is natural after a period of association. However, it is good to venture out to other neighbourhoods to make life more interesting. This video is thus helpful.
