Chase Matthew was the first person Upchurch signed to HollerBoy records. He has a fabulous voice. These two together just mesh so well! This is for sure the better version in my opinion.

@@caedenpierce275 I know the reason, and while I fully support and admire independent artists and listen to them almost exclusively (Tom Macdonald is my #1), it is undeniable that no one can hold a candle to Morgan Wallen vocally. He also has that rare quality that is hard to pinpoint aside from the obvious great voice. I'm sorry but no version will ever be better without MW.

Upchurch was originally gonna wait to drop his video until the original came out but apparently there was some tension or whatever between Upchurch and Morgan Wallens people. So Upchurch felt pretty offended and decided to drop it as a big fuck you 😂

The original version of “ broadway girls “ was taken down. That was Morgan by himself. Then lil durk and Morgan made a remix. Then church and Morgan offered Morgan a beer at Aldeans and Morgan’s security was DH about it. So church said fuck it. We’ll release ours a day before they release theirs. Church did a video on it lol

This wasn't about Morgan. This was about Mainstream Nashville using and abusing artists. Just like they've used and abused Morgan. They're trying to formulate the country rap genre which we can all agree Upchurch has been a huge part of pushing the genre forward. They'll do this and act like the independent artists who dominate this genre don't even exist. You're partly right this is bigger than Upchurch and Morgan too. This is about an industry that will take Morgan's money but treat him like he killed someone and give entertainer of the year to a sell out singer like Combs. You do know Upchurch and Morgan have been hanging out lately don't you? 😉
