BO3 custom maps is what really got me to build my gaming pc. Now with the steamdeck I can play bo3 custom maps anywhere! Obviously all of this is thanks to the developers of these custom maps, they deserve everything in the world ❤️

hey I’m the scripter working on Mont Saint Michel, we actually visited the abbey several years ago and took pictures to make sure we got the scale of the map right. glad you enjoyed this sneak preview and hope to make a map you’ll love when it releases!

For anyone wandering what maps are out this is a list updated the 18th of February 2024, the maps that are out are: Wasteland, CoTD Remastered, The Sanctuary, Shoothaus, the map Blood of the Damned will never be out cuz the creator lost some files and scrapped the map but you can play the first room (MOTD Spawn Room: Revamped). Edit. After 7 months from this comment and 1 year and 5 months from the release of the video these 4 maps are still the only one out (i just researched all of them), i know that its not easy to make maps but damn, did some devs announce them as they just started developing them? I get it you want people to come to your patreon but waiting years will make some people forget about it.

there is a tremendous amount of things that take part in the making of a map. I have been working on one pretty much since this video came out and I don't expect it to come out any time soon. Motivation, real life struggles, wanting to do other things, and so much more has big effects... considering nobody gets paid for the work they do its a miracle some of these big projects have even gotten as far as they have

1:18 thank GOD. i also hope the dialogue is paired back a lot as well. I really disliked how babble-y the characters got in the Blundell era. You couldnt hear yourself think because characters were constantly babbling about the story during waves 1-5

This is exactly what's needed for BO3 custom zombies. For years, I thought that BO3 would never catch up to W@W customs due to how slow the progress was being made on making custom maps. One of the golden eras of custom zombies was when there were no zombies from BO2 thru BO3 (AW flopping hard) and custom zombies mappers went absolutely crazy pumping out some of the highest quality maps weekly. Every day was something to look forward to and the advancements would only get crazier and crazier because people were constantly trying to outdo each other. It's looking like this might happen again with BO3 customs and I am all for it.

With that Call of the Dead remaaster in the works, it'll be cool to see more remasters come our way. Especially with Blood of the Damned being a thing, we could end up seeing every map in one game. Which, would be amazing.

Came here to share some unfortunate news. Unfortunately the creator of "Blood of the Damned" recently lost all the files for the project due to corruption and has announced that he and his team are cancelling the project. So sad to hear. But I figured in case anybody didn't know, I would write it here.

I went to Mont Saint Michel this summer and the entire time I was there my biggest thought was that this would make an amazing zombies map, as in it's perfect, the layout and everything is just amazing. To think someone else thought the exact same thing!!

@@ohmnabar3104 As I explored more and more of it, I slowly realized that it was perfect for a map. Literally had everything, good training areas and with the right number of tight areas too. I was half daydreaming what it would be like to play it. It's so cool to see that this idea will become reality and so soon too. I'm unbelievably pumped dude. Gosh Westland was/is such a blast of a map and Planet did a great job. I can’t wait to try all of these maps especially Shadows of the Dead…so happy to see more Shadows parallels to come back to customs.

Yess, there's another custom map in progress which features battlefield 1 weapons and the map design is like Der Riese + Der Eisendrache , the creator is called "Egged115" if im not wrong

Did you know that Call of Duty World at War Zombies was inspired by an Adobe Flash Player game called The Last Stand? It was a side-scrolling Zombie Defence style game. My dream Zombies mod is a First Person remake of all three Last Stand games inside the Black ops 3 engine.

I love how the community has embraced Cold War with open arms. The general consensus is the game introduced some very welcome changes to Zombies but the maps themselves weren't that great. That's where the modding community comes in :)

The whole mod menu stuff that’s keeping them from playing custom zombies or zombies at all on bo3. Do you think the future of bo3 custom zombies is in danger?

This only affects content creators and there are two methods to counter the hacking going on. I think people just need to be aware of them - this is why my streams never crash!

I've been waiting for Clinic of Evil's remake for so damn long. It's one of the most fantastical maps I ever played on WaW. So, it felt almost like a sore point not having it especially when we have Leviathan. Soooooo damn happy, honestly. The Call of the Dead is looking great, too. We have almost every other experience present, though this one feels like its been sorely missing from the experience, and I'm so thrilled that someone's gone through the backbreaking task of moving it over.

Anyone have any word on the status of Le Mont-Saint-Michel, and Southhaven? Been quite awhile since their eta release date but can't find any news from the mapmakers themselves on it.
