As a Christmas gift to all of you, I decided to not talk in this video... This is an easy woodworking project. This coffee table build requires very few tools and I was able to make it from completely reclaimed materials.

So there’s this little granite countertop business around the corner from me and they always get rid of the pallets used to ship the slabs. Super good quality. But YESTERDAY, I scored huge and got a huge pile of cedar planks. I’ll have to try the fire treatment on that. Awesome work dude!

That’s awesome! Gotta love freebies! I have a spot over here that’s my regular go to and I’ve scored real big a few times! I’m working on a pallet record console right now. Pallets are a pain but you can’t beat the price! Haha! Happy holidays!

Thanks!!! Something about burnt old wood gives it such a cool look!

This is rad. I don’t usually say stuff, but I enjoy other makers making stuff. Not my style however the burnt wood thing is cool.

Thanks! Appreciate it! Something real fun about burning old wood like that!

Simple yet beautiful. Good work man! Question! What is that you put on there at the end?

Thanks dude! When I posted this video I was thinking how unclear that was. Haha! That’s boiled linseed I was putting on but then I went back later and used minwax helmsman polyurethane. Merry Christmas!

Great build. How did you attach the top?

Thanks! Funny you mention that. I was editing the video and realized I never filmed it! Haha! I just predrilled and screwed right through the corner supports and the center board. Down and dirty! Hahaha!

What did you use to seal the table with? Have a nice christmas 😊

So, I’m using boiled linseed oil in the video but I wasn’t happy with it so I went back and used helmsman poly by minwax. This video was kind of a throw away but I decided to post it cause the record console I’m working on is taking forever. Not much info in it. Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

@@DieTrying13 well its a simple and effective way of building a little chair. No need to throw away the Video. What kind of video editor are you using? I think about creating a vid on my own.

@Kruuskopp I use adobe premiere. I used to use Final Cut but when my Mac got old, I couldn’t afford to keep using Mac. Honestly, I’m happier with premiere anyway. It works seamlessly with all the other Adobe programs. Highly recommend it. I know there’s a lot of free stuff out there too but I don’t know much about them

@@DieTrying13 ah, thanks. Will take a Look at it. I found an open Source Programm "davinciresolve" which was said to be a very good one. Thanks man. Waiting for your New vid 😉

@Kruuskopp I’ve heard great things about Davinci! Forgot about that one!

Dude a don't like it 😮 not the project tables sweet nice rustic build and style but the video is weird without you talking in it. 😳😬 Have great Christmas dude can't wait see what you come up with in 2024. 👍🏴

Hahaha! Thanks! Seriously! I wasn’t sure about it. I know I can rub some people the wrong way and honestly, this video was a throw away. I wasn’t even going to post it but the record console I’m working on is taking so long that I figured I’d throw it up and test the no talking idea to see if it gets more views.

@@DieTrying13 nah man really!!😬🤣 All seriousness though a thought was bit odd without your voice over or you popping up every now and again. For you hopefully it'll do well but hopefully it doesn't then u go back talking over them again. 🤔 Sounds like interesting build your working on.
@DieTrying137 ай бұрын
@michaelwillson6847 hahaha! I’ll still be talking in pretty much all of them, I’m sure. I’m trying to make the new build from all pallets and cleaning them up and getting them prepped is such a pain. Not to mention, the holiday season is crazy busy. I’m sure we all know how that is.

@@DieTrying13 yea tell me about it although did first ever market few weeks ago spent 3 weeks preparing for it took loads stuff made shit ton of gear and was a bust. You'll certainly be busy with post! Taking them down shouldn't be to bad you've got the denailer and the plainer. Can't wait see what u do with them. Although a plained and jointed 54 boards just before came away from shop last day took 2 bags shavings so yea feel your pain and am doing them without denailer. 😬🏴👍
