Edson is a Forrest Sherman class dd. Has 3 single turrets of 127mm guns (same as Austin guns just single turrets). Very excited to test it out tho on the press account😅 been waiting a while with this one

Some interesting points there! I want a game mod where one of the player have to incarnate the USS William Porter on each side. And this destroyer would randomly fire torpedoes at it's team (and do damage) and the goal is for the team to escort it to scrapyard. Yeah I know

Is it just me or everyone else? I seem to get the same gun sound for 150 caliber and 380 ... It does sound better to me on smaller caliber, but sounds like a downgrade on bbs

@@shawnsha552 yeah no I was excited for the gun sounds but no they are crap in my opinion they don't even sound realistic. I also asked the developers for different gun sounds for each calibre but they never did it.

12:28 wait a sec. I haven’t seen Italian bots fire SAP shells, it’s always AP shells. But when they do fire AP shells, the shells do a lot of damage to BBs and sometimes OHKO cruisers and CVs at lower tiers.

Seems like a good update, the new firing sounds are good, and it's definitely something I need to adjust to. Ever since Legends released for Mobile, Blitz has been slowly stepping up their game.

Looking forward to the new update. I’ll probably rebuy my Vauquelin to test out the new changes made to the french destroyers. The Soviets getting buffed is also interesting. I honestly thought they were tough already. One buff that they need is probably getting consistent results, especially on the Soviet BB AP. Overall, looking forward to these new changes.

Thank god the torp reload bug is finally fixed. Black fletcher is a lot less useful with the bug. Does anyone know when the 7.3 update will be available in apple store?

I am getting so sick of every update having anime stuff, the only reason I have any affection for the ships themselves, is due to older Minecraft ship animations i watch sometimes

About Italian BB nerf, it doesn't have anything to do with bots loading SAP, what happened was that bot Italian BBs dealt comically high damage. I've eaten a 5x citadel salvo from a bot Francesco before, and I've also eaten a 7x citadel from a bot Lepanto. it happened quite consistently too, I remember playing one night and I would always see some random BB lose half their health because of this, for example an Andrea Doria cutting a California in half.

Huh, that's weird. I'm reasonably confident to say that bots have different movement algorithms, and they're usually not fully upgraded (i.e. you don't see the golden wreath in the team list). For this to happen though, they would have to have a separate damage algo as well. Maybe that's how they were implemented originally at launch, just copy the whole combat codebase over, because there was no abstraction that would allow implementing the bot behaviour cleanly. That would mean they have their own, possibly simpler, damage algos from the early days, maybe even the old "critical hit" system, where you could "citadel" DDs. And then something goes awry with SAP shells (has to be SAP, since otherwise, it'd happen with other BBs, too), because they didn't exist back when the bot combat code copy was made. Only way I can imagine this to be the case, but certainly wouldn't surprise me, it's about on par with all codebases I've seen.

FYI, "anyone interested-san": In teh big game IJN BC's are gimmick ships with special scout plane which improves firing range slightly and accuracy of the guns, no torps btw. X offers u a combination of big guns (overmatch mechanics - 457 ignores armour of 30 mm and bellow) and quite good secondaries, 8 and 9 have 410's only. Without gimmick plane them all have huuuge vertical dispersion and it's quite "meh" really. New USA DD's are exceptional gunboats with good AA(built-in), didn't check em out yet, they are in "early access" right now, and I am on my way of grinding some of em. But they all have no smokes/hydro/radar/dfAA/ anything expect damcon parties, and right now them are BEASTS in the good hands because of their hard-hitting shells with very comfortable arcs and fly speed, and with someone near the CV's struggle to kill them

Seems my update broke the app. I get reset game or retry buttons. Seems to loop and doesn't do anything when buttons pressed.

More anime? Seriously WG, as if it wasn't cringe enough. Anyways, I am *so* glad they actually listen to the community now. For example, I was one of the people who complained about ma selection system in the last survey they made, and a few months later they actually fixed it.

Gun Sound und Map Rotation Änderungen sind ganz nice, die Umfrage fand ich beim letzten mal eigentlich auch recht gut, kann gerne mehr kommen. Neue Techline ist mir ziemlich egal, kommt eh erst nächstes Jahr oder so. Bei den Spanischen Kreuzern hat das so lange gedauert, mit 2 Early Access, jeweils für die geraden ungeraden tiers, sodass der Hype ausgestorben ist und ich die Reviews praktisch vergessen habe. (Die linie wirkt nichtmal wirklich gut) Neue Sammlungen und Collabs sind ziemlich useless, was soll ich mit Cosmetics, die ich im game zum großen Teil nicht mal wahrnehme ode es nichts mit historischen Kriegsschiffen zu tun hab. (mal ganz im ernst, was finden die Leute an dem Anime zeug?) ITA Bots fixes sind gut, wurde letztens in der Shokaku von eine Amalfi ge-two-shot-ed (?). Bots müssen aber ganz gefixed werden oder aus Randoms entfernt werden. Ich spiele gerne ein 3v3, aber Bots sind unfair und machen keinen Spaß. FRA DDs gebufft finde ich persönlich gut, denn die Linie macht mir in letzter Zeit recht viel Spaß. Keinen Plan aber warum SOV CVs eine buff nötig hatten. GL leg mod ist btw giga-useless. Main gun range ist doch sehr wichtig auf einem sonst Nahkampfschiff. Ohne die ist man gezwungen, in schlechten Situationen zu pushen, weil man sonst bloß gegen Yamato, Vermont und co nicht am Gefecht teilnehmen kann

Ich habe das mit dem gestaffelten Release bei den Spanischen Kreuzern damals auch kritisiert, besonders, weil sie die ungeraden zuerst gemacht haben. Ich glaube, bis tier 8 war gut, danach ziemlicher Mist. Geht mir genauso mit der Kosmetik, aber das ist halt so heutzutage, ist die Fortniteification. Deswegen übergehe ich das auch meistens bei der Übersicht :) Ich hatte, ehrlich gesagt, noch keine Probleme mit RM BB bots, außer den üblichen halt, wenn man Zerstörer spielt. Ich finde, dass der Matchmaker zu aggressiv ist - oft lande ich nach 5 Sekunden Wartezeit in einer Runde mit 5 Bots auf jeder Seite, auch wenn der Server eigentlich voll ist. Ich würde da lieber 30-60s warten, aber ich kann mir schon denken, dass die Datenanalyse gezeigt hat, dass das viele Spieler vergrault (Tiktok-Generation). Ich werde die neuen "legendären Module" auf jeden Fall ausprobieren. Ich spiele eh zu aggressiv, da machen ein paar hundert Meter auch nichts aus :)

Better pray the new Japanese battlecruisers at least have decent AP. I have Numancia in PC, it's a pretty fun ship with the PC burst fire (three consecutive salvos, but you fire all three salvos manually). Scharnhorst 43 is well, a Scharnhorst with less main gun dpm but better range on the secondaries and torpedoes. Edson should be the same thing as PC Forrest Sherman, three guns, fixed torpedo tubes, but SAP and only 1.3 second reload, DPM machine.

do you use ios? the ipad i got from school crashes the game every 30 min. other ios users reported the same issue. idk why though. on my 5 year old android phone it runs fine.

This update is horrible. I have Uninstaller and reinstalled 2 time in the passed 24 hrs. I have the high speed data but darn game is stuck on CHECKING GAME VERSION. Longest I waited is 25 mins. Shutdown my phone etc. What a waste of my data.
