Totally understand and agree with you Myself I just do not understand, What happens if you break a oath? Generally, there are no actual punishments attached for breaking a professional oath itself. However, actions that are not in accordance with a professional oath can often constitute malpractice and can lead to lawsuits or even removal from the profession. Moving on What happens if you break a blood oath? What happens in terms of direct causation? Absolutely nothing. This is in fact true for literally anything you say. You can say anything with any level of oath or vow or covenant with as much conviction and sincerity as you can muster… and if you break it literally nothing will happen directly from that. What I mean is that the world will still turn. Everything will grind forward with no regard to what you do. Indirectly..? Well, there are consequences we inflict upon ourselves, or our family and friends, or our community or nation. You break an oath and a friend no longer trusts you. They may be violent. You break an oath and the person you made it with may swear revenge. You break an oath and the law may be broken as well. Jail or execution is possible depending on where you live and who is enforcing the law. And sometimes jail is execution. And sometimes none of that happens, but you can never really look yourself in the mirror the same way again.
