@@lourdf0xat 1:45 he did the Special Sheathe for the Iai Slash, but he faced a little awkward and he might miss the Spirit Thrust, so he used foresight cancel to aim the Spirit Thrust correctly.

There's little room for adjustment of direction from Iai Slash to Helmbreaker, while Foresight can aim instantly anywhere

insane run. i;ve always hated playing ls against large monsters since its hard to hit the foresight slash so the fact that you're doing this with a ls is even more impressive

Indeed, not only foresight slash, but Iai spirit slash is also hard too. Lucky in Rise those moves are way easier to use so my ls experience is less painful than Iceborne. thanks for comment

This is amazing! I don't watch too many Safi solo videos but my impression is that most are done with LBG. Seeing you do a Safi full energy run with LS was something I didn't think could be done. Just subscribed to your channel by the way. Keep up the good content!

Not gonna lie, that was pretty incredible. Solo safi on high energy is incredible as it is, but to do it so well with an LS, even despite a couple unfortunate moments was absolutely stunning.

Sweet run. Reminds me of when I solo’d him with the hammer. 14 minutes is faster than my time for sure. Believe I scored a 17 min kill. Right now I only upload elden ring but I’m considering going back and uploading mhw.

The scripting in p1/p2 is cool, but honestly what I found most impressive was the p3. Just consistent super good play and completely drain out the energy.

Yeah, he became extremely difficult in phe 3. i'm really scared when he spam super nova in the end, lucky i finished him before he use that move 3rd time

i wish they did a single player quest like they did for kulve, even after the "adjustments for easier solo play" its still very hard to do in 1 or even 2 runs

Right, just as creating and upgrading armor and weapons require a lot of his material, that's too complicated with a siege monster like that. maybe I'll make a video for a casual build for this hunt, I hope I can post it before Kulve Taroth week came out again

Yes this, I came late into the game and pretty much trying to matchmake for this is almost impossible, I can get to 2nd phase on my own but run out of time or cart 😔

The double poison in ph2 caught me off guard and the Glider Mantle double mount ph3...very impressive run. Was curious, can you carve or be rewarded the tail despite not severing it?

@@anko6312 this is my next quest actually. I'm about to go on a recon quest here. I hate fighting Safi, it's hard to land hits consistently because its legs move too much. Watching you really shows that some people were born differently.

Sorry if the answer is obvious for speedrunners but how did you skip the multiple healings in phase 1? Did you manage to hit the damage threshold twice before he could heal once?

Oh...About that: Triggering the falling boulders while he is stuck in the vine trap will result in Safi'jiiva leaving the area immediately. I learned it in Mhw wiki, it has all thing u need to know, recommend you read it: monsterhunterworld.wiki.fextralife.com/Safi'jiiva

Noob question but how do you do the combo where you get your guage to red so fast? I rewatched like 5 times but could not tell it looks like a fade slash into the spirit blade from that but then it goes right into spirit roundslash and skips spirit blade 3 and looks so much faster and cleaner would love any info (referring to around 3:48 btw)

I thought you almost died in that final Nova/ultimate blast, because he didn't spawn the rocks that I saw. I've had a team get wiped because of that, luckily we all ate for Safeguard and Insurance but yeah Safi clapped us all LOL Good run!

Did you use extra slot augment on your p1 weapon? Because you can only get those skills on your p1 build with extra slot augment but I saw that you regain health as you attack you have health regen augment. I also saw in your build that your weapon has affinity augment as well because your weapon becomes 25% affinity with max crit eye and 1 affinity augment and also 320 dragon attack which you can achieve by having max dragon atk decos and 1 element augment. I tried this build but its IMPOSSIBLE and you need one more lvl 1 deco slot. Where is it? You didn't show the slots so...

ive seen it a few times on different speedrunners but i just cant see the point of it can someone tell me why they grapple on to the monster and then drop off to hit it normally when just running there would just as fast or even faster

they do that because it makes the monster flinch longer so they can deal more damage on it

@@neetcafeguy862 I barely use that skill, it's too brainless to me, I like to fight the monster on the ground, using side steps to dodge is much more skill-demanding than LS. (may be frustrating for new SA player)
