The water girl needs to banned from all cruise lines. When booked on a cruise with Carnival you can purchase a case of water for about $8 or $9 per case. This could cause the cruise line to not put any bottles like this in the cabins unless a passenger requests a bottle. 😡

I just got off the Carnival Pride 14 day to (not quite) Greenland. There were two girls in the room next to me I heard bragging about doing this. They were also telling everyone they shared a drink package. Accounts got flagged, drink package removed & refunded, and they were separated into different rooms. Just happy the room steward heard them and didn’t get stuck with their water bill.

Great video. The other cruise ship "hack" that I hate is people going to the cruise ship gym/fitness center to fill up their water bottles for the next day's excursions. When I am working out and need a cup of water, the water bottles are invariably emptied out by these people. I once watched a guy come in and fill 4 big water bottles for his family.

@@lorireed8046 it's really not. The water at the drink stations is filtered water. Y'all hilarious thinking because it comes out of a big plastic jug that it's "the purest". In Texas I lived in this trailer park where there were trailers on one side of the little road and a big horse farm with a general store on the other side. About halfway down, right across from my trailer, was this little shed. These dudes literally had a tap in there where they filled up truck loads of those big plastic jugs you see in gyms & offices, had a thing to seal them and then delivered them. So dear, you have no better idea where that water comes from than anything else, you've just trained yourself to believe that if it comes in a plastic bottle that it's "better". But on a cruise ship, you at least know the stuff at the drink stations, where you get ice, tea and juices, is filtered.

I get what you're saying about the follies of social media, but in this case, I'm glad she posted this "prank" video, because she got banned, rightfully.... Also, the water isn't $14 lol... it's $4.99 or $4.50, as of last month when I was on a Carnival ship. Still overpriced, but not to the extent you made it out to be. Lesson learned: just get your bottled water from the bars.

I just came off royal Caribbean 2 days ago, wasn’t nothing royal about it 🤦🏾‍♀️ I was on the Allure. They need more elevators, the wait was 10+ mins and elevators were wayyyy past capacity which is a safety hazard. There were at least 12 people on each elevator 95% of the time. The best tasting thing was the olives in the Mediterranean salad & I HATE olives😂 the jerk inspired chicken was tender, I’ll give them that.

It might be better for cruise lines to sell their water at the cruise ship stores because one of these days some crazy person is going to put something deadly in one of these water bottles. If there's one good thing that she did was to show how easy it is to replace the water without anyone knowing what has happened. I would rather die of dehydration than to pay some crazy price for a very inexpensive bottle of water. Well maybe not to that extreme but I'm sure people know what I mean. They could easily include that with the price of the room or make some type of package for their bottled water.

I personally believe most bottled water is just that, filtered tap water. Hell, in some cases it may not even be filtered. I do not like my local tap water, and as it comes from the lower part if the Williamite River (A major river in Oregon that drains through Williamite Valley (prime farm country) and eventually drains into the Columbia River and from there into the Pacific, I'm not fully sure the water doesn't contain things I'd rather not drink. I use bottled water, but it's the cheapest stuff I can find. Win-co sells it for less than $1 per gallon. It's just filtered tap water, but it doesn't come from the Willemite River. I was especially troubled after canoeing on the Tualatin river, which drains into the Willemite after passing through county where septic tanks are common. And you could smell it. Water containing raw sewage becomes unsafe to drink long before it starts to stink.

I saw another video where an older woman did this same thing. This is sad but i never drink the bottle waters anyway on the cruise ship.

I hate social media. Its nothing but drama, pranks, etc... the only time I use social media is to try to reach out to friends I don't have access to my phone
