I just got fitted in the Suffolk Reign today and I was wearing RP Rubin Radiance before! My fitter told me that there has been some drama with the RP factory and that the Suffolk and the Rubin are made on the same last :) You look amazing in the Reigns!

I don't think that gaynors are good choice for people who are still learning pointe. These are synthetic shoes, mostly made from plastic. Its shank is also plastic, and it does not make you feet work as hard as in classic pointe shoes. It actually weakens your feet muscles and if you dance only in gaynors, it is really hard to come back to normal shank. Its kind of "cheating" haha. You prob know all of those things, but I just wanted to say that - maybe someone else will use this tip :)

I’ve heard by a fitter that some pointe shoe companies, if approached by another brand to contract out an order, only under their name, they often will accept this contract. It’s something that must be carefully legally parsed, but really it’s in the original company’s interest to do so. (Given the order size.) & Suffolk does admit to working with the most popular style of “R-Class” (Russian Pointes) to create this “Reign” shoe. Directly/inspired: I’m unclear. I love a vamp 1 Rubin, so I’m interested! Only because My heart has been ripped outta my chest over the Gaynor debacle. I had just found my perfect fit: right then they’re sold/moved to Bosnia & Herzegovina…& completely changed (for the worse), despite their French ownership/ partnership…& outright denial of such. If Sveta (Zakharova) isn’t happy: nobody can be happy (in my fanatical opinion. 😅) has anyone tried their new “Lyra” style: it looks like Eliza Minden got some input (finally)…& they’re trying to fix? Still takes 12 weeks to order I believe…oh how I miss the good ‘ol GM days, US factory-productions. Love your channel! Best wishes!! 🙏🩰💕
