I was so hurt by seeing your children. Cry and you and your wife over Dixie. I could only send twenty dollars , but I want that to go towards helping dixie because, Our animals are just like our children. And it hurts our heart when we have to try to let go of one I just let go of mine on January 19th after 11 long beautiful years with her, she wasn't amazing. She helped me to variety and changing my life around to a better person. She taught me how to love again after I didn't even want to love myself. But I miss my Sierra. I am so glad that you found someone help you with Dixie. She is a very beautiful dog and her babies. Family, meet her also I love you guys and your channel and I love how you guys get joy and stuff to your animals. You guys are amazing

I am a backyard chicken keeper and no country vets, one chicken got sick and we took her to a vet. She now has a nick name $1000! Dollar chicken.

Coyotes run in packs, one will go in to distract the work dog and lead them to the pack, then they gang up on her,so there may have been one on each ear and all over her body. Sorry to be so graffick but thats the way they work. So glad she made it through surgery. She’s a wonderful dog. You did a great job.💕

You did what you thought was best for Dixie. Don’t even read what the nasty people say. They don’t deserve to see your posts so block them. We have coyotes too. We have 2 LGD’s that are older and bigger than Dixie. She did her job but must have been overwhelmed. Please forget about the nasty posts. Your animals and your decisions. I don’t know who has that kind of money either. I’m so happy you have that wonderful vet that you can depend on. Please tell her thank you from me.

Hey Brandon, your thought about the goat moving in with Dixie and the puppies was God’s plan. I truly believe it is. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Don't beat your self up over your initial decision on having her put down Brandon. When you are on a farm and money is tight you have to weigh up the options. I'm so glad you were able to go the other route and have her leg amputated instead. You certainly have had a time of it recently with your illness and now this. I wish you an easier and happier path for the future.

Surprising that the vets couldn't tell what happened to Dixie it probably was the coyotes they are brutal and more aggressive during mating season

I too was in awe as Dixie continued to wag her tail during the whole thing. She's an awesome dog. I'm so happy she had the operation. Praying she heals well. Love to all.

I’m so happy that you decided to save Dixie. I was crying with you all. I thought her taking in the baby goat was just so precious. I had rescued a small dog a long time ago and then found 1 newborn kitten that I was raising on a bottle . That kitten would suck on that little dog and lo and behold that precious dog dropped her milk and fed that kitten till the dog wiened it. There are special fur babies in this world like humans have special people also. Praise God

So glad you decided not to give up on Dixie, broke my heart I cried right along with you all. Looking at.Dixie wagging her tail and her big black eyes melted my heart . What is so amazing she didn’t even act like she was in pain. I’m so happy to hear that Dixie came through the surgery. Such a hard choice you have had to make, but you thought and I’m sure prayed about it and you did the right thing for that sweet girl.
