Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Like so many others, my lifestyle changed due to the pandemic.
Before the pandemic, my families lives had become so hectic & busy that there never seemed to be a good time to travel anymore. Somewhere along the line we realized that our last vacation was in 2011. We decided that it was time we made some travel plans.
Then the pandemic hit! I no longer wanted to travel by plane or stay in a hotel. We decided that a bettter and safer alternative would be to travel in our own vehicle, one that we could also sleep in, cook our own meals in, vacation in. The rest is history!
However, the RV shopping process is not easy and required a lot of research. I want to share what I have learned along with my ongoing experiences and adventures through my channel which offers:

I was pleased to hear of the improvements you have made on the 540.1 . I still feel you need to have a option on the transmission gears. The automatic transmission will have the motorhome sold. Look forward to shopping for my very own 540.1 .Here in America. Thank you.

Love your videos Ruby! One thing that would be extremely helpful during your reviews would be dimensions (mostly height ) as my son is 6’4” and it’s a consideration for purchasing an RV. Coach height, bed length and shower height are important. Thank you for your reviews - both the RVs and the Campsite reviews!

"We're the Russos" did a video walk-through of the Wingamm as well and shared that the head room from floor to the underside of the roof bed is 6' 1", while the head room in the back of the unit is 6' 6".

Not really they are using fiberglass shell formed for aerodynamics and more room I don’t think you can get a new class b at this price for cheaper. If you want something cheaper buy a camper trailer

I like that RV. Excellent layout and the pull down bed is cool. Needs a little color contrast inside. And the only that would prevent me from buying it is the Ram Promaster chassis. They only come with front wheel drive. But the layout of that rig is very appealing. Good job Ruby. Thanks for the update. 👍

@@Adventure-Mom Many people have already talked about why the Mercedes is a money pit, the Ram just doesn't hold up (I am used to an '03 Tacoma) and the neighborhood mechanic said to avoid anything with turbo. But the other problem is that all 2024 vehicles must include a remote disable option (remote "kill switch").

Super van. Like the squared off table vs oval as it provides more room. I wonder if solar panels are available for the roof. Like the upper bed being manual vs electric so it won't break down the road.

More details about everything in this RV would be very helpful and useful. Especially since it doesn't have a lot of storage space. This is a nice RV and I'm interested in it but, I'm not getting a lot of feedback from Representatives. Some of the Specs are hard to read online. Especially when it's so tiny.

Nice but to much seating. One person can seat on driver seat. I would not allow anyone inside. I would rather have a washing/dryer machine. I would rather have more closet storage in this RV. But how much is it? Can u all raise it off ground more for off road driving.

10:42 Not a fan of the WET BATH! Small 19’ RV manufacturers need to design smart DRY BATH with separate toilet and shower using a swivel WALL (not plastic shower curtain). See the Roadtrek Pivot for this DRY BATH design. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

The RV industry in the US matches the housing industry, we forget about functionality and utility. What about battery size, water storage, grey storage, MPG, solar capacity, and anything else that will reduce your experience of hunting for resources. Like that this has induction - most videos I've seen of what's maybe coming had propane burners. Would love to get rid of ALL the propane. Like the outside-accessible cassette toilet - why carry blackwater?? Am glad they're increasing the size of the fridge - was way small, IMO. Like the lithium and that they've skipped solar (pretty useless, really). Would love to see an ability expand the counterspace - one can't use the sink *and* prep food at the same time as it currently looks. Ram platform isn't my favorite, I'd prefer the Ford Ecoboost chassis with AWD. Honestly, I'd be happy to lose a bit of space in the really big bathroom and open up the inside a slight bit more. Is there an option to ditch the pull-down bed up front so that I can actually use the skylights? I don't need the second bed - what happens to the lights underneath it if the bed is left out, though? Finally, I've not really seen it covered in any video, but I assume this has a roof-mounted AC? Looks really well-made, though! Can't wait to see how this evolves.

Love the design,the bed should be over the front not pull,down and up every time when your on the road,I reckon to many RV are not taking the space over the front anymore,and it’s a bad road to go down,got the space above the driver seat use it.

Hello Annette, RVs that have the bed over the front cab area tend to be C-class RVs and have a more RV exterior look to them. I don’t think B-Class vans really have enough room above the cab area for a fixed designated bed area. Thank you so much for watching!

No solar on an RV is lame. Panels and charge controllers are super cheap and nobody likes to screw around adding them and messing up your roof and creating new entry points

Was the price really ever high 90s for this? I think that may have been referencing what it costs in the EU, which is actually a bit less than that. Part of that is work to get it converted and validated for this market, part is likely based on projected demand seeing how there really isn’t a competing product in this market.

I have camped all over FL and I frequently use my AC unit. With that said, running a AC takes energy (battery or generator) and it can be loud inside the van so I only use mine only when needed. Thank you for Watching!

I agreed with HK, (cassette waste) is a cheap way to avoid weight, space, and money for the manufacturer. But negative has to come with a solution… by adding a waste disposal connection under the cassette and a valve that opens to dispose of the waste via a hose, if so you choose, can make this innovation more attractive. So you have a choice to dump or in remote areas remove the case and dispose of the waste. I would not buy this RV for that reason. But, others have reason too buy a product like this. Love the size and how compact it is.

How much does this RV cost? Do they do solar if you want to have an induction range like the model? Also does the manufacturer have a 4WD option? I almost think with the back being straight down, they could add a foot to the rear and create more storage. Would be cool if it had a ladder and one could hang out on the roof.

I was unsure about cassette toilets at first as well but now find they are very convenient. No smelly hoses to hook up or store and you can dump them anywhere you can find a toilet. My cassette can last 5-7 days with just me using it. Thanks for Watching!

So I have asked this question on many 540/540.1 videos and as of yet nobody has been able to answer. Who is going to provide warranty support for the coach? I’m sure Ram will cover the chassis, but who will repair damage to the coach? PS: the Wingamm website does not address this critical purchasing information.

@@Adventure-Mom I saw a video were they said some time during 2024. I love the 540 but not having a small "garage" for toys and supplies makes it a bad fit for active people using it for extending periods. Theft is a huge thing. Having two mountains totaling 20 grand inside the garage is a great peace of mind. Having them on the outside makes you want to babysit them and not venture away from the RV. The quality of this RV is premium compared to our American junk. So pumped we Americans get a chance at owning an RV that is built like a custom RV but without the custom price tag. Cheers
