President Dr. Julius Maada Bio has emphasized that democracy develops over time, noting the intentional creation of the Tripartite Committee to reform the ECSL and address political party concerns in Sierra Leone. He made these remarks during the presentation of a joint statement by the Government of Sierra Leone (GOSL) and the All Peoples Congress (APC) party on the committee’s final report. APC Leader Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara reiterated the party’s commitment to the Peace Agreement and the committee, while Chief Minister Dr. David Moinina Sengeh revealed the committee identified 86 issues.
