Thanks! These shots are actually from the White Mountains in New Hampshire. We absolutely loved this area. So beautiful! We love Maine, but, as it turns out, this detour inland was quite spectacular. We still hope to get back to Maine in a week or so.

Thanks, Renee! We did not mind this detour at all. The White Mountains of New Hampshire were just so beautiful. We still hope to get back to Maine, and we are really glad there was not much hurricane damage there.

Hello guys. Glad you are safe and enjoyed the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Tim and I did this hike last September. Yes it was challenging but the views were well worth it. Still one of my favorite hikes. Thanks for sharing and we look forward to more videos to come. Stay safe!

It must've been far worse where you were. I'm in south central Maine, and we barely got more than all day rain.

I don't think it was actually bad at all, but they were taking extra precautions. We are so glad that there wasn't much damage throughout the state. We hope to get back to the area in a week or so.

Hurricane in Maine. Would not have expected that. Kinda sounds like a Johnny Cash song...

It was quite a surprise to us as well. I don't think there was very much damage, at least not in the Bar Harbor area. We still hope to get back there soon.

It was disappointing, I was working at a boatyard on somes sound and we spent the week preceeding the "tropical storm" pulling dozens of boats out of the water, which from my personal experience living 50ft from shore at the middle of the sound seemed unnecessary, at least for vessels 36ft and larger. We didn't even lose power - I drove around MDI during the storm and saw less than 6 trees snapped or partially uprooted.

Yeah, we heard that there was very little damage. I guess better safe than sorry. The campground that we had been staying at opened back up within a couple of days. We hope to get back there in a week or two.
