I could not do a 10 clothing item wardrobe overall, because I live in a country where we have all 4 seasons, but I did do it my own way, I have 10 pieces of clothing that I wear at home or at the gym (because it's mosty sweatpants and thirts), 10 pieces of clothing just for the winter, 10 pieces of clothing just for the summer and 10 pieces for in between. If not for covid I would cut my "at home" section, but for now it's definitely needed. I appreciate the 10 item wardrobe idea, it definitely keeps me in check not to go overboard with my clothes.

I am SO happy I've discovered your channel. You are literally inspiring me to go through my belongings and part with what no longer brings me joy. I've just come back from a 2 week holiday to see family in sicily and I really realised I don't need a lot to make me happy. I literally wore the same 3 outfits, and had no home material items and I was happier then when I am at home 🥰🤍✨️⭐️ going to start this weekend and I am so excited xx

Loved this video and loved your wardrobe! Since being on the 10-item wardrobe for a while, I find that I prefer even less choice, almost like a uniform. If I have too many combinations of items to choose from I still get decision fatigue! Ugh. I gravitate to wearing dresses or the same combined outfits all the time so I don't have to think about it in the morning. But it is frustrating when the mornings and my house is cold, so I wear warm clothes and then I go somewhere after lunch and its 75 and I'm burning up lol So it's been harder choosing my outfits lately with this mixed weather.

Now living in a country where we have all four seasons ☹️🥶. It is impossible to have such a small wardrobe. However, the years that I spent living in Thailand I owned barely any clothes; a couple of dresses, shorts t - shirts, shorts one skirt (plus a pair of jeans, long sleeved t shirt and jumper for when we visited colder climates), a pair of flip flops, vans and a rain jacket. I didn’t even wear underwear as I lived in my swimmers! Those were definitely the days! ❤

I lol’d when you pulled seeds out of your overalls, I recently found a treat for my chickens in my jeans pocket 😂 My biggest hurdle actually has been figuring out a wardrobe that works for 4 seasons as I just moved from Orange County to rural Texas and yo girl is freezing 🥶 hahaha but I’ve been learning the art of layering! Biggest benefit: I suffer from fairly extreme anxiety and not having to think about trends, the cost of items (I only buy second hand), if the situation is right for the outfit (never should have allowed the thought: can’t go to Korean bbq in THOSE jeans….if I can’t eat till I’m full in the pants then pants have gotta GO 😅), or “how I look”…I only buy clothes I feel like a my best self in. Love the small wardrobe!

I love the Piper & Scoot dress, I managed to buy one on Poshmark and shipped it over to the UK. So happy with it, Ive replaced 8 dresses that I never wore with this dress that I definately will wear. What I enjoy about moving to TX was that it’s mostly a year round warm state. So I’m able to create a more summer-y wardrobe which makes things a lot easier! Definitely gets cold here, so I have a few winter pieces. The one thing that’s extremely hard for me when it comes to minimizing, is not having the “staple” pieces in my wardrobe I need to use to create different outfits. I am currently pregnant too, so that’s an issue as well in itself! I have one pair of jeans, which I can’t wear atm. I have three basic black maternity leggings which have been great it’s all I wear currently! & I have some basic tees, but nothing I can use to feel more stylish. So I guess I just have to figure out what works for me in the moment, and adjust once baby is here also!

I have 10 shirts and 3 dresses for summer. I get snow here so I have another wardrobe for winter. Shoes for now or a pair of black long boots, hiking boots, black shoes for work/ whatever and black heels for dressing up.

My biggest obstacle for not having a smaller wardrobe is I live in a climate that has 4 seasons and also when you don't have a slim streamline body you have to hold onto if you find pieces that fit your figure. I also work at an office so I have to have smart casual pieces too even though I would be fine with just muumuus haha! I would love to live out of a suitcase and a backpack and I enjoy the process of curating my wardrobe into a smaller more intentional one.

I want to get down to 10 for warmer months, 10 for colder months and 10 for my gym or home clothes. And not count my underwear or pjs. This video is a good reminder how little you can live with. Most of us don't wear half our clothes. I know I don't, but also its because I gain and lose weight alot so I have 2 different sizes in my wardrobe lol I'm about to put my smaller clothes away for now, maybe get rid of a couple too.

Do you still have a ten item wardrobe (this is over a year old which is why I ask). I really love that you are able to do that where you live! I do have 4 seasons here and have never had a capsule closet but have a couple friends who have and it works well for them. It is so nice to find a pair of good jeans after birthing! Your outfits are really cute! I am into thrifting items or wearing ethically sourced/fair trade/bcorp items. Oh man, the Simple Folk is a company I have heard about for a while and I was thinking about getting something from there for when my new baby is born (for him). We'll see. Linen is a great material since it breaks down faster than a lot of other materials when put in landfills or whatever. Cotton takes its sweet time. Anyway, love this.

im not one thats big on deciding what to wear, I just usually grab and go.. (I do have choices too and I know how they feel on my body) as long as I can move, am comfortable but I do enjoy my accessories like sunnies, hat and sometimes a scarf as a shawl and I love the clip flowers. they can go on my head, on my dress or clip on my bag with a scarf.. im finding as my emotional baggage has been given to yeshua, my colour palate is changing, I used to wear all black but now im heading more to white.. it feels like joy and light with freedom to play.. I do prefer black tights for walking in but thats to stop the rubbing between my legs and to hide the cellulite lol.. my" not today satan " t shirt is always a must while walking, some people love it where some people will avoid walking past me.. its quite fun tho because its always a different walk every time I wear it outside in the community. im in the process of removing weight from my body so as the weight goes so does my bigger clothes.. I too can look at a favourable dress that no longer fits and think to use the material for a pillow but I usually pass it on to someone else.. here in Australia, we can donate to the animal welfare league, so any money they make, goes to the animals for food etc.. so I never feel sad for gifting my clothes to them.. the scraggly ones always go to hubby for cleaning rags for the car.. I do wear my clothes out till they are ripped or falling apart.. if I buy something, I love it to death lol.. I am looking forward to losing this extra weight, to clean up my home and the outside too.. I am going to enjoy simple living.. it goes with my motto of RE-WILD (finding my place back in nature) and UN-DO TO RE-DO... I do love that beach bag you have... are they still in circulation???
