shes very good yes, but for me she got boring and now i dont use her except as a hyperbloom trigger or sometimes in the abyss :/ (my opinion tho, doesn’t mean shes bad, shes very good)

@@AH_125 Raiden is great, but nahida is just better. It is better to get a C0 Nahida than a C0 Raiden Shogun. At C0, Raiden can be best used as a battery or hyperbloom bot. For the battery, a similar (or perhaps even better) alternative would be Fischl. Give Fischl a decent Golden Troupe artifact set, and the lvl 90 R5 slingshot (a 3 star weapon), and she will be able to battery your team while dealing significant off-field damage. For hyperbloom, kuki would be a better alternative because her healing has EM scaling. Raiden is better than kuki for dendro only if you want to attack enemies at a distance (as in case of tighnari). For aggrevate you won't believe, but even Lisa is a great character for aggrevate (pretty much on par with Kequing). Raiden is a great character, but at C0 the utilities provided by her could also be provided by other alternatives. She is a decent dps at C0, but so could be Fischl (while being off field), or Beidou. She becomes god tier at C2. So unless you are planning to go for C2, it is better to pull Nahida. Nahida is pretty much irreplaceable in some teams. She decides the dendro damage of many dendro oriented teams. Even some of the best dendro teams of Raiden need Nahida. If you are a new f2p who does not have Raiden or nahida yet, it is better to pull for nahida. Raiden will eventually get a rerun again (maybe by the end of the year), and until then you could very well use other electro characters for dendro related reactions. But nahida is very hard to replace.

The problem is with Beidou burst not Raiden burst. Beidou burst is what requires fixing. It triggers on normal attack damage type rather than actual normal or charge attacks. The description on her burst is just wrong.

This is one of the few weird problems with the game, they could easily clear up all these misunderstanding by clarifying skill descriptions, even if it takes a whole paragraph.

@@nikumilotic1333 Because the shields are being hit by normal damage type. It is not about doing any actual health damage. Raiden does burst damage type with her burst so it can not activate. Normally when you use normal attacks you do normal damage type but skills can do normal damage type too like Childe E skill.

the same for the other two above dmg is not everything and maybe the catch is even better than the staff of homa because the cr and er the catch gives (only if you don't have enough energy) and about that 2nd weapon just don't ues it raiden doesn't need a shield she can't be knocked back anyway

and the skywar spain becomes better when your bennette doesn't give enough atk and because the E dmg is way higher than the catch and for the atk speed it gives

assuming you dont have both then its nahida.. she opens the door for dendro based teams one of them is hyperbloom.. high floor, fast and ez to build, perhaps fastest team to build to reach 90s abyss treshold, highly recommend for newer player

As a Raiden haver and Main. Nahida because she is the best dendro applier and but Raiden is just too good and satisfying to play but im biased so idk

Jean > kazuha > Bennett Jean provides full fanfare, and she can swirl electro and hydro Kazuha can only swirl and buff whole team and group Bennett can only heal and buff raiden so you won't get full fanfare

@@chromakuro yeah in that case Bennett's over healing on raiden will trigger furinas passive and give more fanfare stacks but kazuhas grouping and damage buff to both elements seems better to me If you get her c2 then I'm pretty sure kazuha becomes better than jean and Bennet becomes more viable but your still need some form of healing

Thank you! To answer the question, the VV buff from Jean is valuable, if you don't have her you can use Sayu (pretty much 4 star Jean).

Navia at C0 is incredible still, as long as you have a Zhong/Albedo paired with XL/Furina and Bennet both comps are amazing. At that point it's just which character you like better! I've been playing sense 1.2 so I had my Raiden already when she first released and was/is my favorite BUT Navia came home to me and I LOVE her play style and she does amazing damage at C0.

Navia is new so she'll rerun but of u miss raiden you'll wait another year

borrow your friend account who has raiden c2 and navia.. play with it couple of days.. if you dont have friend then its only matter of vertical investment vs horizontal investment pick the most beneficial to your account

Raiden works with a lot of teams, where as Navia works with certain teams. Raiden provides more value where as Navia provides more fun.

Go for any flex unit, you don't have to necessary go for a 2nd hydro unit. Zhongli or any Anemo unit should be fine.

It is better on average. But yes pretty much better in any situation in terms of Raiden's personal damage. The gap between both weapons is minimal anyways.

1. investment lv differences : benny, sara, kazu lv, talent lv, weap etc.. looks small but it adds up 2. artefacts optimization with weap.. perhaps you should try using genshin optimizer to address this but i believe electro goblet > atk for pjws

I’ve been researching everything Raiden, from what I’ve learned, Sara’s BiS is Skyward, if you have it, Electro Goblet and more ER% on Raiden ~ keep me updated, I plan to test it out when I get her as well

@@kitsune_kukanttv2574 just tested C2 PJWS Raiden with level 80 Sara on 11 talent and level 80 sac bow, 90/90 skyward blade Benny on level 12 burst, and 90/90 Kazu with about 1000 em. I switched her to electro damage off piece and had 1500ish attack , 55 CR 180 CD, and 240 ER and did 375k. My stats are like 500 less attack, 10 less CR and, 15 less CD, and similar ER and I was doing 345k on atk goblet. So electro seems much better on the hypercarry team cause she’s already getting so many attack buffs from benny and Sara.

For her personal damage yes. Staff of Scarlet sands is best put to use on a quickbloom team as it scales off EM. But it doesn't mean you have to change your build.

Definitely, Furina buffing both Yae and Raiden is going to be strong. You can always try out any team comp you think of.

C2, and give her the catch

C2 is overwhelmingly better because there are many decent polearms you could put on her. Not to mention pulling for c2 will likely give you c6 Sara to play with. Now the difference between c3 + R5 Catch vs c2 + Engulfing is what is small. C3 being about 1% better than Engulfing Lightning but it might change on team comps and substats.

I have been saving for half a year. I'm getting both C2 and the weapon. C2 is way better if you can only have one or the other.

I use Layla as the flex spot since I don't have Zhongli and my Neuvilette is not C1. Layla provides interruption resistance and powers up Neuvilettes ascension passive. It's a really comfy team for over world exploration.

Just use an Energy Recharge Sands, additional rolls from other pieces and you'll be fine.

If your sticking with Venti in your team, Kujou Sara and Bennett will be a better pick for your team. Xingqiu is good if your able to vaporize (if you have Xiangling in your team), otherwise Kujou Sara is better for Raiden's personal damage.

It's going to work. But I would recommend use either Fischl or Raiden and use another unit of another element for Nuevillette's passive.

I'll be talking more about Chevreuse in my guide later on, I think both of them together will be stronger but only better in a single target situation or where enemies don't get knocked back by overload.

Chevreuse was built for overload, and she doesn't do a lot of pyro application off field, so as your only pyro source it might not get as many reactions. But either way you should try it! You never know till you test it out

Battery, and just overall a good DPS. DPS - High Burst multipliers (Over 700% just the initial slash at Talent level 10, not even counting the NA/CA you do during her Burst.) Battery - She can charge other unit's Bursts (Though that doesn't mean run no ER. She just helps A LOT.) Her passive actually wants you to build a lot of ER on her (Over 220%.), as she gets an Electro damage bonus. So, you can run Attack goblet and still get amazing results. Yes, others can apply Electro, but Raiden is basically the best one in the game because when her Skill is active it's a short cooldown between AOE hits and her Skill's duration is 25 seconds; enough for basically a full rotation of her. I'm not forcing you to pull, but I can surely tell you that you won't regret it if you do.

just adding some things.. iirc her ele skill proc faster thus allowing her to proc reaction faster and more frequent than other electro applicator super cost (primos) efficient.. basically her power at c2/c3 comparable to other c6 just take a look at her c2 and yae c6.. they are quite similiar 😳

It depends on ur artifacts of u have a lot of energy recharge on ur pieces primordial jade winged spear is really really good but if ur lacking energy recharge u might want to consider the catch but I’d say ur build is going to be really good with Primordial as the base attack is 200 more. in abyss if you dont have enough energy for the round then 210 er is problematic to fill her burst.. r5 catch is your safe bet
