Great list and explanations, Xaryu. Although a few nitpicky details on healers... Rdruid is S tier but only if you're nelf IMO. Besides nelf rdruid, the spec should be placed at the top of A tier (like A+). Nelf is extremely broken right now for allowing druids to get off 3-4 drinks in high mmr which is absurd. In caster comps, the problem is exaggerated further since comps like mage/spriest or warlock/spriest just have ton of cc and utility to peel druid for drinks. I think without that added power, rdruid is downgraded from OP to a really strong spec hence it should have that distinction. Perservation is S tier for other reasons besides its throughput and mana. Nullifying shroud (on average, you need 4-6 globals to purge and knock it off due to trash buffs), basically cc immunity in flight, and casting cc while moving (sleepwalk). The spec virtually has no weakness IMO. Can't really cleave it, can't really focus unless you're SP/Assa and kill in swap. Atleast with druid, there's a decent chance to kill outside of bear for most comps. Hpala should be C+ because while yes, they have their strong CDs and it enables a lot of the yolo shuffle plays, in between their CDs, their healing is not enough to catch up, especially since rot comps are becoming more prevalent on ladder. They really need some love from blizzard in upp'ing consistent healing and play. No comment on hpriest or disc, but anytime i play against them, i feel like it's free for melee cleaves or assa/sp to train them. Not sure if blizzard should nerf sp/assa or give priest a buff overall in PVP situations. To me, the latter should occur since IMO, training the healer should never be the "first strategy" in arena. it's more than fine to swap or pull into cleave and kill (like TWD), but i think there's an issue when training the healer becomes the main strategy which seems like the main strategy against priest comps. these are just my observations from playing in the 2k -2.2k mmr bracket. There could be other and more accurate observations in both lower and higher brackets. Again great list!

I m Monk main since Mop, and you re 100% right. The nerf of Karma where the amount of blocked dmg and healing get nerfed was terrifying bad.

My problem with this season is that pure DPS classes can outheal damn hybrids, except hunters.

I am a bit surprise by Rsham in this tier list. Cdew / Absterge don't stop saying it's bad. You didn't argue so much when u did put on the tier list. I excepted you d'say a bit more on how you feel about them, Thanks for your video good to know your actual feeling with others classes

You talk about if there would be S+ tier you would put some classes there. If you would leave the tank spec out of the list you would have more tiers for specs. Just an idea for your next tier list.

Which specs pair well with Ret's? Pairing up for 2's with a Ret. Not sure which of my classes will compliment us.

karma is breaking in 0.1 sec and the other issue is that u die through double wall + karma when the opposite team bursts its just dumb

As a suggestion for next tier list! Do the classes in the order they show at bottom of tier maker, this makes it easier for people to scroll through and find the classes they are interested in!

Glad ww here, I agree with you 100% my friend. I mean I pre karma a stun go and I still have to trinket it’s redicolous. You should be rewarded for a play like that and karma breaks like a bisquit since ages. Making karma %100 of your hp again would be a great change imo.

hmmm, not sure, but seems like every class has alot of healing and shielding, also it seems like when everyone got their gear up that we went to those Shadowlands days of just one shoting in seconds . It still kinda sucks that they went with the whole Vers stacking thing for more dmg and reduction of dmg taken, instead of doing it like during the good times having PvP Power and PvP Resilience stats. Stat wise it feels the same to the last 2 expansions stacking max Vers->Haste->Mastery->Crit, at least for Warriors, wish i could go like 30% Crit 15% Haste and 20% Mastery and for the rest to be that PvP Power and Resilience.

yeah it's always hard to rank Enhance just because they really only have turbo as a comp.

For 3v3 as preserv evoker, would it be better to play with spriest and affli or demo?

Specializations dnt matter if the other class can burst you in a global on a 3 second stun

I'm burning down everyone in my path with Affliction and am very hard to kill with newb gear. Maybe it's just because I put in the time to read into the talents and learn how to play it but it sure as hell feels like S tier to me.

Agree that tanks don't really have a place in arena but for sure have an important role in bg/rbg. I feel like they should have separate pvp balancing for arenas vs bgs.

Enhance shaman needs the nerf on healing reverted from Shadowlands or have a pvp talent baseline or in the talent trees. Having to choose between all the good utility totems through pvp talents sucks.

Agree on the healers mana theory but.. there's something that you missed when ranking them. Id say MW monk & Disc Priest are high a+ or low s for the shear pressure they bring to enemy dps. Those are the healer/DPS hybrid specs that can literally 100-0 a DPS player alone, whilst your DPS controls the enemy healer.. so in atleast in 2s & suffle they rank way higher than preservation or rdruid. Just saying, anyways these tier lists always have a grain of salt and opinions behind them.. nice vid xar 💪

Great list mate, it's close but no cigar. Resto shaman struggles alot with any kind of cleave. The throughput just isn't there with the heavy melee meta. Vs comps like rmp it's a different story, but that comes from their utility and not their ability to outheal dampening (and ms effects) like the s tier healers.

Rsham ahead of priest specs seems a bit dodgy in my experience

I was a Devastation main and got to 1560 in solo shuffle but I finally gave up and went fury warrior. Thank god I did. Devastation has some amazing burst moments and can kite, but it still just doesn’t have the amount of survivability other classes have and it can’t lock people down. On my warrior I pop spear of bastion and go crazy on people whereas on my evoker people can usually get away somewhat easier. Idk, devastation needs to have smaller CDs, like the one that makes fire breath instant cast needs to be shorter. Using fire breath slow cast just feels like garbage and I only do it for instant cast living flame procs. Don’t get me starter on how badly we lose to shadow…

Pretty accurate though if we're talking 3s with a decent healer and having awareness of what your enemy is doing arms could be A tier maybe low s even, the damage is insane after the buffs I can hit a 180k mortal strike after getting an execute proc for the damage buff and overpower buffs, though I'm specced for mortal strike and play without bladestorm unlike pretty much anyone else out there but yeah arms can bust anything right now, if we're talking big damage, more than half of somebodies hp in 1 shot is just ridiculously good (blizzard don't read this and nerf me)

ww monk's damage has been already nerfed twice so I don't think he has the highest burst in the game atm, he's definitely weaker than before

They absolutely need to revert the mana nerf on holy priest .. it’s disgusting how fast I oom of the other team is pumping…. Which is every round of solo que above 1900. 😢.. -18% mana regen is *rough*

Karma's not all bad if you take all the talents for it....Pre-DF you could easily just pop all ur cd's and kill through it...But the other day I tried to do the exact thing and just destroyed myself while he's full health. You just have to pop your other D with it i think to make it more effective.

I was a fan for Spriest, but I wasn't doing very well in pvp, so I switched to MM hunter, which I manage to do much better, I felt I had more power to have a chance to win a battle with another player. Today I log in and voila, no double tap..... I played a solo shuffle and bg, yeah I log out, saw your video and Im going back to sp. Good bye hunter, really it was a huge pleasure playing this class, I don't mind the loses at all, I really had fun with the wins.

I'm struggling as hpal in solo shuffle, well, in everything really. My externals are cool, but the problem is I get swapped to and I don't have the throughput to survive so after bubble I die.

Shouldn't frost mage rank a bit higher after buffs? Why its still behind arcane after Buffs? Please explain? :)

I always enjoy when casters sit higher in the teir lists like seeing people complain demo lock is way to strong just makes me smile cause its the fact that theres alot of way to kind of weaken the damage. i mean every ability they have can be interrupted (outside affi & if u play the instacast for the hounds) but like you can silence them, stun them, and if thats not enough you can LoS them in order to make it where they cant cast to summon there legion of demons. idk i enjoy the meta much better when casters are more enjoyable to play cause they actually do something instead of just being target dummies that die after a few minutes and not putting out any dmg.

Its funny how strong BM hunter can be almost in every RBG im in the top 3 most 1 or 2 with most dmg and kills its insane but when you join arena i see only roque and demon hunter and furry warrioe and im done cannot do anything about it i do everything i have like freeze stun slow jump and run away BM is not build voor 2v2 only for RBG,solo shuffle, 3v3

Just for perspective, monks wall is a 6 min CD which Demon hunters get pre much the same effect with a 42 sec CD. Monks defs need defensive buffs.

I'm s priest main and I apparently just suck because I damn sure don't feel like an s tier. I feel like I have plenty of utility and fairly decent damage, but I feel squishy as hell. For reference ive just done bgs and skirms, pvp ilvl is like 402

I watched an Evoker and some other ranged chase around a Rdruid and literally not be able to kill it for about 5 minutes. You gotta have a snare in your kit or you are going to have a REALLY bad time.

Evokers need the nerf hammer. They are just so overtuned, doubling my hpal in healing and 50% mana when I'm OOM. Not balanced.

I think what would really help evoker is 2 charges of hover baseline, time stop baseline even as a pve talent that can be cast while stunned and/or to use shield in stun

Windwalker monks should be more tanky for sure, I'd rather have consistent dmg with very nice defense than being super strong in burst and then pretty much dead

Imo they should return karma to how it was in MOP. Monk burst has been nerfed pretty hard recently so it would be a good counter

Not putting Havoc DH in S tier is interesting to say the least. Solo shuffle aside, they're the 2nd most represented dps spec in 3v3 above 2100, and the highest rated dps players in both NA and EU guess what they play? Both havoc demon hunters. The one and only reason you don't see more demon hunters in the top 100 is because most of those players have been playing the game for 10+ years and they've had other mains for a long time.

It'd be nice to see what you think about an RBG tier list. I don't really enjoy arenas because I don't know every class in depth and I'm okay with that. I like the chaos of RBGs as it makes it easier to only need to know major CDs and 1v1 matchups when defending a flag or protecting a fc
