I've spent all day trying to get this to work. This video PERFECTLY explains how to properly use seamless co-op (the newer one at that) and the randomizer. I even got "disable rune loss" to work with it. Thank you so much for creating this video so quickly after the new seamless co-op update came out. No steps were skipped, you properly showed what needed to be adjusted and where to go + even the shortcut to get the path link easier. 10/10

hi there, i cant get it to work to play seemless coop with the randomizer, i can play SC alone and the randomizer alone but not together. i followed every step 3 times going as far as installing elden ring new. i started a chatacter in SC alone but that didnt change anything.

I want to thank you sincerely for your amazing guide. I've used your guide and have been playing seamless randomizer for the past 2 weeks. However, after Seamless Coop Patch 1.8.2 which released today July 30th, it stopped working. I even deleted everything and installed everything all over again. Somehow when I launch the game through Engine Mod, it only launches Seamless, without randomizer. If I removed the (copy path) part from the config and launched the mod engine, it works fine and launches the randomizer as intended. Once I add the path to the config, it only launches seamless only. This is brand new and I hope you can help us with a solution.

@@jonathanorozco8187 From the mod launcher. The file named "config_eldenring" that you open using Notepad. More details: At first, all I did was update seamless, which I did before with 1.8.1 and worked fine. Then version 1.8.2 released and updated again. I then launched "LaunchMod" as usual, but now it only launches seamless coop without the randomizer. For testing, I removed the "copy as path" part of the video from the config of the launch mod "config_eldenring" to see if it would launch the randomizer, and it did. Then I copied the seamless path back to the launchmod config with he double slashes and everything (just like before) and it did it again; only launching seamless coop.

Error: just click add another mod in the randomizer and do seamless co-op and then hit add dll and add ersc.dll and then click launch elden ring (in the randomizer)

After doing the Seamless setup, and making sure I have my path in the config, the launchmod does not open the game. Elden Ring appears as a process in my task manager, but nothing opens. I can get Randomizer working on its own, and Seamless on its own. EDIT: Upon closer inspection, I had an older version of ModEngine. Fixed now.

I was really glad to see that a new video about the Randomizer + Seamless dropped. It worked for my friend which I'm very glad! But unfortunately it doesn't work for me for some reason. I'm so confused. Seamless Co Op and Randomizer were both working fine until all of a sudden, our enemies were no longer the same... We have the same seed for enemies (it was working fine for the beginning) so I don't understand why it randomly started showing different enemies for the both of us? I followed this guide, but when i tried the final result i kept getting a "Failed to load save" error. I eventually fixed it by deleting the seamless coop savegame and launching seamless coop separately. After that, i could use the mod installation without issues.

Hey, great video! I had a question about going back to online after using mods. On the seamless co-op page it says that you don't have to uninstall it and can simply launch the game normally. Does this also work with the randomizer? Or would I have to wipe everything before going online again? Thanks!

@bretthiberd9295 If it is a DLL mod, you may have to add the path to the mod engine file, or make sure your loading the mod folder below where your landing randomizer.

Hey man, great video, very thorough. I followed along with everything but I’m still having problems connecting to my friend within the mod, we get the message “unable to summon failed to join session” when trying to connect to either one of our worlds, same passwords, rebooted the game countless times, disabled/enabled firewall, tried switching hosts. Nothing works :(

@ptzski I has this problem at one point with three of us, I couldn't figure put why. we just ended up switching the host. You could try switching passwords is my only suggestion. No idea the true cause.
