Are these changes enough to save Enchantment?

This show was perfect, ‘you are the magic’ after the lockdown period was the message we all needed

They finally got it right! They remembered the one person’s dream, who brought Disney World to fruition. Sure it started with a mouse, but the mouse would not have been realized, without Mr. Disney’s dream. Congratulations to the Disney folks for recognizing that if it wasn’t for Walt, there wouldn’t be a 50th.

Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse, and don’t forget Roy Disney who made sure his brother’s dream was actually constructed…yeah, this is what the 50th really needed to be about.

There's no real magic without Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. It's still a small thing, but it has added great value to Disney Enchantment. I will certainly see this show with different eyes from now on.⭐

I remember, back in 2022, my mom was planning to take my grandmother and I to Disney for 50th anniversary cuz we’ve been a Disney family since..forever. We unfortunately weren’t able to go since my grandmother was diagnosed with brain and lung(?) cancer and she passed just before her birthday. 💔She always made Disney trips interesting, still believed in everything, and for me personally, always made me feel like a little kid again going back every two or so years. We’ll be going in May and on our first Disney cruise, but it’ll be our first trip without her and we’ll just be missing the 50th anniversary. Seeing this makes me wonder what it would be like if we were all there together for it. But, I know she’s going to be with us. Love you gamma ❤

This Is Much Better than the First Version of Disney Enchantment! 😍😍😍

After completing my CP this last January, this show reminds me of all the fun times that I had with my friends and the emotions that I felt watching it for the last time as a CM

I honestly DO NOT understand all of the hate towards this show from the Happily Ever After show fans. This is an incredible show that demonstrates all of the parks history, and where it all came from. Other Disney fireworks shows font hit the same as this in real life. I started crying the minute the blueprints showed.

Walt & Roy thank you for building this incredible place that my family, as well as others have enjoyed for most of our lives. This place is truly the greatest place on earth!

Seeing these changes to Enchantment to make it feel more like an anniversary show gives me hope that they’ll add the dialogue from Harmonious Live into the actual show to give it a better story line.

This new sequence of Disney Enchantment really makes perfect sense!

I saw this for the first time just 5 days ago. I was so emotional. It was SO PRETTY and I had chills the whole time. I enjoyed every second of it!

Even though this was way too late, I’m just glad these creators finally understand what and who this show is and should actually be about.

I worked at Disney World for a year. Now I have a boring officejob. Whenever I see this I cry, not sad tears, but its the most beautiful thing I seen in my life. Ive seen the Disney fireworks sooo many times. My bucketlist is to see it again and with friends and family! Words cant explain how its like in real life

By far my favorite show at DisneyWorld. I went there the last day splash mountain was open and I was mainly there for the show (and Splash Mountain of course). It makes me feel so magical! 😊

Why wasn’t the show made like this to begin with? Is Disney so disconnected with the park goers and fans to create a show that no one wanted? This show finally feels like an anniversary show. It’s now, finally, partially filling the very large shoes of HEA. Mickey ✅ + Walt ✅ + Roy ✅ = FINALLY!

It made the show way better and I love how Mickey is the one saying “You are the magic” in the finale now. It would be way better if during the finale there was a choir harmonizing like in the Disney Dreams finale (Disneyland Paris old show) and also more fireworks in the finale like Disneyland Forever had.

Disney is an incredible achievement for one mans vision and his brothers steady accounting competence from the first day of their great partnership.

The Walt and Mickey section brought more 50th Anniversary uniqueness which we were probably all expecting in the first place. So glad they added this eventually

Sorry but nothing will compare to Happily Ever After! I have seen it in person and also so many times on video. Most people want the magic, a story and Disney songs with heartfelt lyrics. I don't understand how a group of EXECS in a room thought Enchantment was ideal with an orchestra and less lyrics?! This addition of Walt, Roy and Mickey makes my heart swell...however wow almost a year too late for so many guests that can not afford to visit often. It is just shocking how bad they missed the boat on this. smh For now I will appreciate this addition and be thankful. Thank you so much for this video. 🥰

This is great. I didn’t mind the show even before. We got to see it. And it’s so very special in my heart.

Much better but they should have said something to the effect of how Roy loved his Brother so much that he made sure to complete Disney World for him and have Disney World thank him for that . Just a little more emphasis on Roy Disney. This was his moment.

I’m just so happy they did this, the show is much better, It May not be perfect, but they listened to the fans and for what It seems they learned from their previous mistakes, that was the better they could do.

I stayed the whole show in tears of joy

Whilst this certainly is a step in the right direction, I think Enchantment now suffers Identity Crisis. What was teased in the beginning is what it should've been all along, but now we get a weird hybrid between Park Anniversary and Film Celebration. It is better than what it was before, and It is a step in the right direction; props to Disney for adding that even though it's too late. But what was added, is what it should've been all along: The 50th Anniversary Celebration of The Most Magical Place on Earth. But I will admit I got emotional seeing the new intro and the addition of Mickey Mouse. That's what makes Disney, Disney. Happily Ever After is still superior, and I can't wait for its triumphant return. Happily Ever After knew what it wanted to be since the beginning, and it emotionally and successfully delivered.

Wow. I thought the first one was good but it was missing the feelings of true Disney, something Disneyland does proudly. This does a good job at honoring Walt and Roy. It felt like Disney, not just another tourist attraction like normal

We stayed on property 2 weeks ago, and I found it interesting that they have HEA available on demand on the room TVs.

I had written this show off due to watching (part of...it was so dull I couldn't stand it) the original version. I thought Happily Ever After was phenomenal, and Enchantment was SUCH a let down. Fireworks/Nighttime Spectaculars are one of my favorite thing about WDW, and I couldn't believe I was going to go down and NOT watch MK's show. But the additions of Mickey, Walt, and Roy do save it for me. I will make sure to see it when I'm there. It's still not even close to Happily Ever After IMO, but it's at least enjoyable to watch now.

Now it makes sense, unlike the first version! The first one felt rushed but now it feels complete and the story is understandable.

Seeing this show during my first visit to Magic Kindom was truthly amazing, 14:10 I still remmeber how this part made my jaw drop for how was beautifully done, I get goosebumps everytime I remmeber it

It's about damn time, it only took them almost a year to acknowledge Walt and Roy Disney, but from what I've been hearing all over the web is that they may be changing Walt Disney World to just Disney World, so I'm fearing that they are trying to soften the blow to fans if they go ahead with the name change. They've already omitted Walt's opening day speech from Disneylands Birthday last month. I don't believe or trust the management of the Walt Disney company these days and wouldn't put it past them to slowly remove Walt from the Wall Disney company

I love Angela Bassett but Julie Andrews should have been the hostess of the show as she opened the park in 71 AND.... those singers... the original characters would have been better you know? but... guess you can't have it all.... i can't wait to see it....

I’m glad they brought back happily ever after back this week before spring break cause that show was badass and awesome AF. Also I’m glad they added Walt but enchantment will forever and still be one of the most probably worst and forgettable firework shows. HEA and Wishes are the OG’s everyone remembers.

This is, without a doubt, the best Disney Firework show I have ever seen.

After I watched Enchantment for the first time last December, I said to my family that I wished they would have included projections of Walt and Roy and / or the history of WDW. I LOVE that this is included now!!! It really makes it 100x better in my opinion. I will probably not see it in person before it’s changed again, but I still love that it’s a thing. Lol

I watched the original Enchantment here on youtube when it debuted last year and thought it was meh. Definitely not up to the same standard as HEA so I was disappointed with it. I didn't bother to watch it again because I knew I would be going to Disney before the end of the year so I figured I would watch it in person and see how I felt about it then. Well yesterday was my trip, and I saw it live at the park for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at the changes made. I love it now! Its so much better for an anniversary show and it all flows together amazingly. HEA is still my favorite, but this one has now become a very close second.

As a person who watched all of the Disney night-time spectaculars in-person and on sceen, this is a one that I have HIGH hopes for, ITS DISNEY WORLD, the most magical place on EARTH! I have mixed feelings about it, the sound track is definitely beaten by Hong Kong Disneyland's Momentous Soundtrack and performance. This is easily beaten by Fantasmic, and Momentous. This is really good, but could be better.

It’s about 51 years ago since Roy Oliver Disney died after he opened the magic kingdom Plus it’s about 56 years old since Walt Disney died just a year before the construction of Disney world started

HKDL still has better storytelling as their chapter are more touching and better planned. But the amounts of fireworks still is really amazing comparing to any other parks around the world. Btw, SHDL is cutting 10% fireworks in 2023 due to they run 2-4 "ILLUMINATE" per night, so cherish the epic firework.

They could have taken most of Remember from Disneyland and it would work for the MK anniversary show. We should have known what to expect after what they did for Disneyland's 60th firework show. Oh well.

I wasn't fortunate enough to watch any of the 50th shows in person, but just from watching online, Harmonious seemed amazing. This on the other hand seemed to be a bit...lackluster. Like it's missing something (even with what was added). I really liked the Frozen and Moana section but that's about it. I feel like more intention went into Harmonious which is fine. Both shows served their purpose. I'm glad HEA is back though and I hope to see it in person one day

I do like it but what about the hunchback of Notre Dame (Out There) like the scene. I just wish they would put that in.
