Sooooo sorry for the longest wait yet. But here is my video that is sure to do the trick and stop those pesky randomly generated townies for good!

and I’m all for representation but it gets really annoying when over 90% of my randomly generated townies are named something like “Suzuki Kawasaki.”

Its weird that you mention that happening, because that literally happened to me as well. I think this is a predetermined outcome, since the actual description of the caliente family changed to reflect this new union. Something like "katrina is now married to a loser..." i cant remember the rest. I deleted him with extreme prejudice.

I'd love to see a video on making balanced worlds or one on making lots that don't have a dedicated lot type. I sometimes wonder if my save file really needs all the libraries and pools I planned and if I should include more retail and museum lots. It's also difficult for me to add unique lots because I focus too much on the basic definition of a lot type and not enough on what it could be. A video on burnout from making a save file and how to stick with it would also be cool.

One thing I am trying out with my really well-off sims is to give them a second (or more) home. How I go about this without any mods is by giving them a retail lot, placing a cash register in a dark corner that will never see the light of day (me in particular since they look strange in a resident home) like under the stairs or basement, and then going from one lot to another. Currently, I have an older couple who lives with their 2 grandchildren who have a beach home and a penthouse. I am thinking of getting a mansion in Del Sol Valley but I want to first build one (or refurbish one on the gallery). I am still only building the save file as of yet, so not sure how the bills will increase. Would never think of sharing my save file since all my sims have CC on them and I know people would not have all the CC's I used, but having fun all the same! I am literally making all the townies and adding all the CC now before I start playing. This vid could help on how I continue to add my randomly generated townies. So thanks for the vid!

This works! What I did is label all of my test sims. Like Jason TestSim1 or TEST SIM1 (whatever you choose). That way when they start showing up in-game, I could see if I did it correctly. YEP! First one was in the restaurant as a waiter :) Thank you so much for this tutorial!

not helpful at all, eventually you run outtve customized sims to take up these positions and then your game starts generating the rando potatoes again, so this is a temporary fix, not a solution EDIT: the time has come ladies and gentlemen, a working no townie mod has been found for now, zeros no random mod has now got a completed version of the no random mod that was in testing and so far im far from disappointed, it comes as a combination of the no random mod and the roles filler mod that allows you to personally select which sims youd like in each role, ive coupled this with lotharihoes's sim spawn overhaul mod and together they have achieved perfection in my game, completely no townie spawning

Am I the only one who prefers random sims in the game over ones I make? (for unplayed category) Yeah. I probably am the only one. It's just that I feel like I'm meeting someone new I know nothing about. I don't care if they're dressed crazy, I think of it as part pf their personality. But still, this was some great info to know. This mod is pretty amazing. I'd say everyone should have it, but I'd rather say it really should be part of the standard tools that are in the game already.

I just gave every townie that came with the base game and packs a makeover. Can I somehow manage it that only THESE sims that already were there walk around or do I HAVE to make new sims and place them in the „not living in any world“ file?

This has saved me so much, thank you! I have no more random weird sims in my game!! 🎉 BUT Idk if this is a bug… but I get a lot of duplicates, like a lot of the same sims generated in the game which can be confusing and annoying 😢 i wonder if you know a fix for this? ❤

I think if you choose the "Import Sim Name" (it's after "Include Clothing") there is an option to not generate sims with the same name, so it should only generate each sim once (I *think*). I also read somewhere that you should lower the percent from 100 if you don't have a lot of sims tagged with #mccc_include because it will, then, start duplicating your sims.

Hi, thanks for the updated video. Thers....ONE thing that I didn't found it clear. if the mccc tag method wont work on families well, what is the way to add a complete familly together? (but in my case....I want to create my own families) Again....Thanks.

To add a complete family together you would make the family and then add them to your world manually, and then you can move them to "other households" if you weren't going to play as them. You wouldn't need to worry about tagging them or anything because they'll be in your game already! So you would just CAS a new family and then place them on a lot and either leave them there or evict them so they become "out of world" townies. Let me know if this is confusing and I can try to explain it in a different way!

Does anyone know how to stop clones? I have the same name thing off but once they go and get married and change their name, their old young adult self with their old last name for example, will be imported back into the game. HELP! & I’ve made like 50 sims?

I’m having the same issue 😭 I think by untagging them (removing the tag from the bio) after you see them in the game might be a way to stop it, but I’m not sure

I can't add the tag #mccc_include when I open a sim in my library. There's no description field that allows me to enter text. Ok, never mind you explained that in your video; I downloaded them directly from the gallery. Excellent video! I guess I'll do it without the tags then.

Can it prevent random sims just coming in my house? Its really annoying when my sims are sleeping and the time cant speed up cuz stupid clement frost and lily feng are eating from my fridge The goodbye interaction isn’t working and the ask to leave just isnt there, and send home is not in the options either…

Is there a workaround for this concerning family NPC's? Also for NPC roles, does MCCC choose a random sim from the tag or does it consider things like traits/skills? So if I create a chef sim will high cooking skill, will that sim be chosen in a vendor or restaurant chef or is it random?

Maybe you cold flag them for no Age Up (or something like that) and to Freeze Appearance. Those are under Sim Flags/MC Command Center and Sim Flags/MC Dresser I believe

Thank you so much! I was trying to find a mod to do this, but I'm glad my mccc had it. I was trying to start a sims world that had only my sims, and every time I would play, some random townies would show up and it really frustrated me.

Have you encountered having a sim from your library duplicated? I haven't found out how to stop this from happening, but it's a thing. I had three sims in my Library, and there were so many of each of them generated in the save file. I removed them from my library so the game would stop pulling them, and still found 3-4 more of them after deleting the duplicates in household management the first time.

There is a setting in MCCC population to skip a sim if a sim of the same name is already in the game. That should prevent duplicates.

@@Ivan-C19 I don't know. Maybe it will skip over the duplicate rule or it will simply not spawn sims. Maybe try googling the specific issue and see what happened to other players, that's what I usually do.

Yeah, just do the exact same thing, except you skip deleting the sims you want to keep in your game :)

Help!!!! Okay so I HATE when I’m playing with a career in Get To Work, my sim goes to the science lab for example, and all of his coworkers are in the regular lab coat uniform…. but with weird CC shoes?! I love having CC, but don’t know how to stop the shoes from going onto NPCs. Or when my sim graduates university and I travel to the grad ceremony, same thing, my sim and all of his classmates have weird odd (sometimes not even gender specific) CC shoes. Anyone know how to fix this?????

What I did with a CC Hair Created a Folder for it (This would only target the CC you want and not have break random things like default eyes) and ran Sims 4 Studio's "Disable for Random NPC's" Batchfix Note for Townies that already had the shoes this won't remove them but it prevents future ones from spawning with it

I was having that issue with "Racooned's Ibuki Mioda Hair" and "chrissie24642's Yasuhiro Hagakure Hair" since I wanted to do most of the Danganonpa Characters in game and they tend to only look good on the specified characters not random Townies (Some of them could make the Ibuki one work) Using the S4S No Random NPCs option was how I solved it (And if you want to do the Batch Fix create a folder for the CC you want to run it on)

How do you 3dit the description of a saved Sim from our library? It doesn't allow me to edit any of their descriptions?

Did you download this sim off the gallery? If you downloaded it off the gallery straight to your library you cannot edit the description, you have to open CAS, then open the gallery, and save the sim into CAS and then save them to your library and now you can edit the description !
