WOW! Thank you so much for featuring my boxes in your video, and such high praise…makes me blush! By the way, the hinges are called friction hinges. I was the first pochade box maker to use them when I started my company in 2007. Thanks again!!

I'm aware it's an old video, but those hinges are called (adjustable) tension hinges. Pressure was close enough hahah. Definitely an excellent invention and definitely _the_ hinge to go with for anyone interested in some DIY pochade box building or even just a more simple easel that folds open. Those are some very nice boxes!

LOL I laughed at the airport part, I have the same issue in security! It's the magnets inside which freaks out the scanning equipment.
