Yes Ms Virginia I do still have the skimmer. At the moment I have not had it on my 40 gallon in 3 weeks because I am testing out a Hanna checker and doing small water changes every week. To help you out I have only used the digital controller 3 times then never touched it again over the course of 3 years. I do not have much changes in my saltwater environment set up to have to adjust it often. Good luck on your travels.

It depends on the water level in the tank. If you have an ATO and keep it topped off you dont hear it while sleeping and my bed is 8 feet away.

Yea. As long as you keep it clean it works great. It only gets loud if you don't take the entire thing out and clean it every 3 months. That is for my bioload though.

I wanted to be able to review it better for everyone and also I wanted to test it out and make sure I did not get a dud. I'm not sure how long the warranty or return policy is. I have gotten played before not testing something and it was 1 week over the return date. Any other questions let me know boss.
