I personally haven't played legacy mode, I'll get in game though and do some testing myself and see what I can figure out for you that may help

So I did a test run myself with a basic created fighter, the training areas all work fine, nothing during the fights is glitchy except on one occasion when I first started it with a texture being buggy, which only needed me to swap back and forth for it to fix itself. I do have one question, what kind of CPU do you have? The emulator is very CPU dependent for running games accurately. An 8 core 16 thread cpu is what is recommended to run most games with no issues. You can use lower core and thread count cpu's with varying settings and still use the emulator though, but will run into issues like your describing where some things seem "unfixable" regardless of settings. For my recommendation, if you do in fact have a CPU like an i5 for example, that is something like 4 core 8 thread. I would reset your settings to default. Turn on everything I have listed in the video like write color buffers, turn the resolution threshold up a little bit to something like 85x85 or so. If you have Multithreaded RSX turned on, turn it off if you have a lower core cpu than recommended since it can cause performance issues with lower core counts. In the advanced tab turn Read Color Buffers on, turn Accurate RSX reservation off. In the drop down labeled RSX FIFO Accuracy first turn it to atomic and see what the gameplay is like, if there is no change set it to the Ordered and Atomic setting. With these settings see how the game performs, if you are still encountering missing or buggy graphics you can go to the advances tab and under GPU turn on Disable Vertex Cache which might fix some of the bugs, only do this last once you've tested because this can slow the game down sometimes and make it play slower, if you turn it on along with everything else it may be hard to pin point what is causing the slow gameplay. My other recommendation is when you are going through different settings trying new things on your own, only do these one by one so you can test each setting individually so you know what works, doesn't work, what causes lag, what doesn't, etc. RPCS3 is a tricky program to master per se, have some patience when dealing with different settings and test a lot and you should find a formula that works for you, like I said in the video, RPCS3 isn't a one size fits all type program, each persons settings will vary to some degree, just have to find the best settings for you. Try those I recommended and see if anything works, you can reply back here and let me know if you need further help.

I've never heard of RPCS3 rejecting a game due to it being "old" The program doesn't restrict the ability to run or not run games due to age, so long as you have a usable dump or download of any game compatible with the program it should work. I would personally try re-downloading and re-installing RPCS3 and following the walkthrough again. It could be that the program didn't install or update correctly so I'd imagine a fresh download, install and updating it to the latest version available should fix any issues. If that doesn't work re-download or re-dump your game again and try once more, it could potentially be corrupted somehow too.

Certain fighters aren't available with Bare Knuckle, this is intentional through EA, nothing you can do to get around it unfortunately. When the game was released there were a list of fighters that wouldn't be available in it like Mike Tyson, Ali, etc because they didn't want their name and likeness associated with bare knuckle boxing

@@reinhartthepillerman1841 Gotcha, so from doing some research it seems to be a string for memory error. Try booting the game from the option that says "Boot with default configuration" you'll have to right click on the game and you should see it. Once you do this see if the game will boot up and load properly. If that doesn't work then try booting with the global configuration instead. Both have some slightly different settings which may help it boot correctly. If none of those two options work then you will need to reset your config to default. Then go into the settings, under "CPU" try changing the SPU Decoder option to "ASMJIT" if that one doesn't work then try "Dynamic" and then "Static". Do this one by one and test of course to see, you'll need a little bit of patience when trying to figure out errors like this with RPCS3, it can be a bit buggy for some people sometimes, no reason how or why, it just varies from PC to PC. If you try all of those options and nothing works revert back to the "ASMJIT" option and if you have the ability to change the TSX Instructions in the top right corner of the CPU tab, disable it and test that. Lastly, if none of those options work, leave the "ASJMIT" option enabled, go to the Advanced tab, and enable the setting "Debug Console Mode" under the Section titled "Core" this allows more memory to be pulled from the PC to run games, it can cause crashing, but in cases where the game won't boot at all it may also help get them to run. If none of that works for you, my best recommendation then is to try joining the RPCS3 discord and asking for help in the help channel, there are devs there that may know a bit more than me and might be able to help you resolve the issue. I would only join once you've tried all of your options first, they can be a bit cranky at times when people don't bother trying to tinker and figure things out themselves for some reason lol. Keep the message short and sweet if you do join, post the error code and get your log from the directory and send it there if all else fails.

No, RPCS3 is only for PS3 games, you can view the compatibility list on their website, just search rpcs3 on google and it should be the first link. As for playing PS5 games on PC, I don't believe there is any such emulator that can do that yet, not even for PS4. You can get Playstations PS Now service I think it is called, and it will allow you to play games on PS4 and PS5 on your PC similar to the Xbox live app for PC, it's technically "streamed" from their game servers so it's not technically playing on your pc per se, but it is a way to do exactly that. Not all games are included with it, but a good portion are.

@@ricosm2856 You downloaded it from Vims Lair correct? If so, check the folder titled "Downloads" in your file explorer, it should be there, if not just go to chrome's download section, or opera, edge, etc and check there. If you right click on it most of the time you can open up it's exact download folder that way.

@@Secreicy How many cores is your i7? The recommendation from RPCS3 devs for the best gameplay is any i7 or higher that has at least 8 cores and 16 threads, that seems to be the sweet spot for most games to work properly. The emulator is very CPU demanding, your GPU really doesn't play into performance that much, RX580 would work just fine, you could have something like a 1050ti and still have the same performance, it's all about your cpu architecture more than anything with RPCS3
