It was also the home of Panama, a bottlenose Dolphin who couldn't echolocate due to the fact that she was deaf. Even though I feature her in this video, she passed away Sep 26, 2013.
The Clearwater Marine Aquarium's mission statement is to "rescue, rehab, and release" and they do so with commitment, passion and pride. They are the real hero's and Winter is the inspiration that touched the lives of so many.

Winter, I heartily regret not going to see you in 2017 like I wanted to. It will be a deep regret of mine for years to come and possibly till I die. I'm heartbroken for your loss. The world needed you but God needed you more and even though you are gone from this world, you will remain in my thoughts, heart and my soul forever. 💗
