In this video I will break down my gear and talent points for meta tanking. This build will work for all kinds of content and is even good in PvP.

There are better options for a cloak on the AH for very little gold. Think blue item, 5 stam, 5 fire resist. Until you get rep with wsg and then you should be aiming for the sargent’s cloak and the rep trinket from wsg as well. Stam>armor to a degree…

Swap improved drain life for suppression (spell hit chance). Imp drain life gives 2 extra healing per tick at 5/5.

What i did, and i took the curse amp, incinerate over the dodge too 20 seconds for 6 second vs the massive dps gain wasnt worth

just isn't true, with the rune's increase it's well worth it. i'd say drop the bonus stam if anything

At this level, you should reconsider the 5/5 in demonic embrace. You have 96 stamina in meta form in this vid. You're spending five talent points to increase your stamina by 10 and reduce your spirit by 3. I like maxing out imp lifetap, maxing out life drain, and then putting the last points into suppression to reduce resists since there really isn't hit gear available

Doesn’t the drain life talent only add 1-2 more healing per tick?

@@lloydmcallister8559 So Drain Life at Rank 2 will get you 17 HP per tick and you've got to channel the friggin' thing ... if you use the Rune ... it'll go up to 25.5 per tick ... if you have all 5 points into the Drain Life Talent? I get 28-30 per tick... and that adds up.

Ring Of Defense is also pretty damn big for Lock Tank. 20 armor and +4 def on a ring slot with meta armor amp aint too shabby

@@wylatron sure if you feeling like trash farming rfk or paying AH price. Ring of Defense is simply a really cheap and surprisingly effective item for warlock tank that can be picked up by anyone wanting to fill a ring slot. It's a good value item that can very easily tide you over until you've farmed enough G or gotten a better drop. Is it bis? No. Is it prebis? Nope, not really. Is it cheap, easy to obtain and actually provides some value? Yes, yes and yes.

Absolutely, you're correct in that regard.@@wylatron On Living Flame EU it was about 80s when I bought mine. It's currently however around the 1g mark last I checked. I'd never pay more than 2g for it personally.

Healing items does not increase drain life couse it's shadow dmg I guess, testet it today

If it increases armor by 500%, its times 6x, no? Increasing by 100% would be double, 200% triple and so on.

Corruption, agony and drain life. Keep them up. Then taunt it you lose aggro. And just spam shadow cleave and searing pain.

Open with incinerate and drain life and corruption then spam searing pain till incinerate falls off then add agony to the other 2 dots

What pet are you using for tanking? I’m assuming if you want more stam use imp, more damage use succubus?

I really think the demon form should be removed from SoD, or change the skin at least. It's weird to have an army of hobo adventurers with weird cheap looking sets (which is how lower lvl chars should look like) and have huge demons running around them ... spell casters mind you. 😅

I really hate how EVERY single guide goes over all these alliance ONLY items. Just overall not a great guide when you are showing quest options ONLY available to alliance.

Oh maybe I should've specified better. But I tried to provide a horde option. If you kill stitches you can get a white offhand from him which also gives 50 armor. It's pretty much equally as good. As for the ring. I'm not sure what the horde equivalent is tbh. If there even is one.

Horde off hand is Tork Wrench samophlange quest line. Starting in ratchet. Only 30 armor (so killing stitches is still probably better) but you get a bit of int out of it.
