Updates at the cabin, and the start of the greenhouse

Been a bit as work is just starting to pick up, but figured I'd start the greenhouse as I had the posts and windows for it. Some updates on the garden and of course The Griz as I wait on picking up ash for the window boxes and trim. With luck rain will stop for a bit and the garden grows. Hope you all are doing well. Thanks for visiting the homestead cabin.

Hi Wiley - Good to see you again. Man, that Grizzley has grown a lot since you introduced him to us. He looks like a fun fur friend to have though. Your garden is amazing, lot of work, but you will be well rewarded at the end of the Summer. Thank you for the response to my e-mail the other day. LOL I love how Grizz is helping in the garden. Looks like a nice lake. And I love that little falls. Yup same! We got so much rain that my little container garden has suffered a LOT. My potatoes haven't faired well. The hail got my peas early on. I have only two tomatoes trying to survive. Not plants, just two actual tomatoes. I have gotten a few serrano and chili peppers and one jalapeño. I can NEVER grow strawberries. I tried several times last year with no luck so gave up. Raspberries would be nice to have too. I was gonna ask if you planned to do some jam. That's a lot of apple trees. I don't think I realize you planted that many. Good idea to let the bees have at the wildflowers before you clean out the apple cages. LOL yeah lots can change in 20 minutes. Grizz is doing a good job. I feel like I wouldn't have noticed your legs if you hadn't mentioned it. Now I have to comment. Dude, you need to wear some shorts more often or get some of that lotion that tans you when you put it on lol. I might be jealous of your greenhouse when it's all done. I just really don't have a good place for one. We have so many trees. I gotta be able to move my plants around 😕 Looking good. Look forward to see the walls coming up. I like seeing Grizz. Thanks for the update.

ironic that your video pops up this morning, as I just returned home from you neck of the woods last evening. And the bugs were as bad, or worse, than you stated. They were brutal! It looks like you're getting the garden along as best as can be with the weather there. I hope the greenhouse comes together well for you too. It rained all but two days while I was there, so I hoopee that the weather improves for you soon. Saw a fair amount of damaged and/or closed roads do to the excessive rainsr. Kind of wild and crazy, but so goes Mother Nature. Stay safe an d best regards.

I'll start on inside of cabin shortly. I want this greenhouse for next spring as plants from commercial greenhouses are crazy expensive now.
