This is the best and most comprehensive explanation for managing eczema I've come across. Thank you so much! In my opinion I see lots of emerging options to do with gut health and other stuff, which look exciting, but for now, this is the tried and true stuff.

Can't go wrong with sunflower oil and a little water mixed in. Cheap af and does more than any cream ever did for me. It's amazing the NHS says nothing about this on their website and instead of this they issue you steroid creams or expensive creams.

My eczema started after my fifth booster vaccination Moderna. It started with a DVT in my left leg which swelled up. The skin blistered and slabbed up. After four months and a visit to a private Doctor who diagnosed eczema. My right leg has now got it. I have also seen two other people with this condition after having the vaccination for Covid. This is definitely a side effect from the vaccination. I never had eczema before this and would like to hear from others who have suffered it after vaccination?

Here the good Dr is exaggerating the Specific Effectiveness of the Dupixent for Adults and Older Population: In a Phase III Trial, the 10% of Placebo patients got Atopic Dermatitis better during the Test Period and the 40% Dupixent Patients got better. They did not give data for Existing Corticosteroid Treated Patient cohorts. In the absence of a complete set of Testing, it can be concluded that maximum 30% of Dupi Patients got the "good results" not 65% or more this Dr. claims. Plus, in the US, for Medicare covered older patients, the cost of it will be unthinkable. Total cost is $3300 per Month (2 shots of 300 mg each) and the patients must pay $1000 per month (2/3 of the cost is absorbed by the Medicare Advantage Plans). How a Medicare Social Security receiving Seniors can pay this price, for the 30% chance of getting better from AT? Plus, if you stop the Dupi after a few months, the AT will come back MORE aggressively! Beware, please. Dermatologists must look for much cheaper affordable cure for AT in order to be REASONABLE to the target Patients, who are already feeling sick of the disease.

Also just wanted to mention that Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) is an emerging issue that many people with eczema are facing after using steroid cream. I hope more dermatologists can be aware of this.
