Did they add any anti-counterfeit features to the slabs lately? Like hologram, uv print, etc.?

Enjoyed the video! Personally, I like PSA for the red/white pokeball aesthetic on the labels. Plus they run monthly specials that can easily make up for the annual fee and my last sub came back in less than a month!

5:39 I cant seem to find the bottom half of the submission page when I go on their website. I have 2 sports cards autographed and i want the card itself graded with the autographs also graded but I can see where it says Base,Standard,Express,Priority but underneath on their website there is no option for "Extras with Autograph cards +$5" I dont want to submit the card unless I know the autograph will get graded as well. Can you help point me in the right direction?

Do you know how many updates they send you these days? PSA has a ton of updates showing you exactly what part of the process your cards are in. I think that's a good feature as a company. Last time I sent to Beckett I got a total of two emails. One email was "received" the next was "shipped".

The upcharges from psa are the most bs thing. They’re still generally going to spend the same amount of time on each card and determining something in the lower grades would most likely actually take longer than a 10.

Honestly I'm just so over grading/graded cards. It's costly, they always get it wrong and I have graded cards with hair and dirt inside. It's clearly not done with skilled people or in a clean environment

Yeah i'll never grade again with PSA at this point. They are basically extorting collectors. I graded with CGC and they just seem like they are falling behind, slipped turn times by 10 additional days just today which is a shame as grading was consistent and I do like their slabs. Interested in BGS with these changes, thank you very much for overviewing. May do TCG with BGS and sports with SGC.

I don’t get how the same card board can be better than each other. If it’s not ripped or damaged it’s the same shit lol they’re just taking advantage of trying to make an easy buck with surrounding your cardboard with plastic and putting a number on it.

The truth is, most Pokemon cards are not that rare, even vintage cards, so for some people they want their card to be in the best-of-the-best condition because it adds a layer of rarity. Grading provides a standard for that “condition rarity” and many people enjoy the chase of getting those rarer cards in a high grade. It’s not for everyone, but I’ve come to enjoy it.

idk maybe if you did 30 seconds of research youd findout why a psa 10 mickey mantle rookie sells for millions and a psa 1 sells for a few thousand. its a “hobby” and people like to collect mint cards because that makes it rare considering theyll never be made again. its like a 1970 american muscle car with 50 original miles vs same car with 200k miles. people like the rarity of being practically brand new but yet very old, vintage, collectable. its not very hard to grasp, just turn your brain on for about 15 seconds.

It so annoying when you try so hard to cover the grade. I mean really. I Can’t watch when people do this. Just pull it out and show card and grade at same time. I just unsubscribed because of this. So lame
