I've made this already epic little trail truck even better with some must have budget upgrades!

New look with a C14 front bumper and grill, C34 wheels, gorgeous white finish with a black rear bed.
Features in stock rtr form:

Pictures really don't do this truck any justice, in person its absolutely breathtaking!
Out of the box its performance is phenomenal, plenty of draw current getting to the motor and a nice aspect of slow control.
Perfect for hitting the trail!
This came to the market as a surprise as it wasn't officially announced by WPL.
It's a collaboration between RBR/C and WPL, outside of the scale model scene the owners of both companies are good friends and go 1:1 offroading together.

This is a great video showing the C24-1's capabilities with a few cheap upgrades. I'm very impressed with how it ran. I bought the RTR recently and got the soft tyres for it too. I also have the new C54-1 body set and wheels on the way for the chassis. I've subbed and look forward to watching some more of your videos. 🙂👍

For such a cheap rig it certainly takes the trail on well 💪 I have said in a review soft tyres will make the rtr so much better and its cheap and easy to do. I've just finished my c54 🤤 I cant wait to take it out on the trail!

Amazing video on an amazing little Rc truck! I love mine which is a kit version. Think I’m gonna get another one and put that 2spd transmission on it. Mine, single spd trans. Is still very capable, but that crawler gear makes things so much more controllable as you can see in your impressive video! Cheers to you and these WPL’s for being so cool!

Love your builds and videos .I found a great sterring mod that puts the servo on the axel . More low weight and much better steering. No bump steering

I like the km kits aswel, you get metal axles, metal pinion and ring differential gears, metal bearings, metal cvd steering joints, metal driveshafts, 2 speed gearbox and wheel weights 💪

What an awesome little piece of kit! I agree... the 2 speed is the deal. I have that in my B16 and it's made a world of difference. The 370 motor that comes with the gearbox sure doesn't hurt either. Bags of torque, yet still smooth on the move.

Easily one of the best upgrades you can get for these little critters, affordable, effective and durable too! I've got like 6 dual speeds now 🙈

@@THYC , agreed. Mine came with the metal gears as well, but to be honest, the plastic ones haven't cratered yet! One important mod I did make though was getting the Fayee open differentials instead of the WPL ones. It's far less stress on the gearbox. I stuffed the 'pigs' full of silicone grease which effectively limits the slip but still provides decent traction...the upside is there's no binding in the axles on tight turns anymore which is usually the death of a tandem axle (even in real life - I've been working with big machines for decades..). In the meantime, keep up the good work, sir! We really appreciate your efforts...this community of little WPL's is really gaining traction (pun intended). I never thought when I got into these a couple of years ago we'd ever see them in a local hobby shop, yet here they come! Let's hope the R&D keeps up with it all... :)

I enjoy trailing with 1/16 so much more than with the bigger rigs. Everything is a Challenge 😂 I love how cheap and plentiful upgrades are aswel 😊

Just bought one of these for my daughter as a first RC to take on the trails.. I am used to my Clod buster rock crawler but I think I am now going to go and buy another one for myself as this one looks pretty cool

They are perfect little trail trucks, people often mistake them for rock crawlers but if you use them for trail use they are amazing! I love having to plan my route carefully like you would In real life.

nice. on the older style stock rims (widened), I run 9 turns 2 mm solder on the front pair, stock older style kit tires with some good lug trimming. these tires look different than the older ones and look friendly to some lug trimming too. that's creeping strong with the 2 speed in there! for heavy like the D-90 here (wheel weights, metal axle casings etc), MN's 260 motor+gearbox with a 280 swapped in is pretty strong, not quite a 370 still very nice. in a C14/24 it'd take a bigger chunk of battery tray floor and last time I checked the C14 here already has that MN gearbox and 260 motor in it... and I have a couple extra 280 motors now, so that'll happen soon.. a set of those tires and 2 sets of rims looks tempting, which are they?

They are kit tyres bud, with the c34 wheels. The c24-1 comes with the c34 wheels and rtr tyres, I added soft kit ones and a set of wheel weights 😊

The wheels weights weight about 90g each from memory, I think a set of metal wheels weigh slightly less

If your new to wpl and rc in general go for the rtr and learn how it work, upgrade to suit your driving needs or replace if anything breaks 😁
