Hey Ronnie! Would love to hear your take on the imperative sentence “Don’t you dare!” Because you are, after all, She Who Dares. And like, “do not you dare” what does that even mean. Usually “don’t you ___” sentences are in question form. What’s up with this imperative sentence? Why and what for? Thanks hon, much love always ❤

As a portuguese speaker, ALL of those examples sound Very different. That is the reason about the dificulty we have. I am wondering if they also sound different for English speakers.
