Just because Makita doesn’t make an 18v pump doesn’t mean you can’t have a Makita powered pump.

I’ve already got heaps of Makita batteries and Makita doesn’t make this style submersible pump 👍.

its easier just to buy this adapter: MT20BSL ..and no need for this+ by that you won't loose timer funktion, on/off button 😊

@@grazierguy i initially wanted to do by your way, but found out that will loose timer & on/off. so my clever dad 🙂 gave my idea to look foward for diff. solution an i found this adapter. anyway thanks to your vid. i would'r even think of that swap solution ☝️🥲

@@maurus331 yeah it’s a bit sad to lose the on/off switch. I just plug/unplug the cable on the back for that now. I’ve bought a couple more adapters for other projects like converting the 18v battery down to 12v for use on 12v appliances and I make sure I always buy the adapters that have the switch built in now.
