I’ve installed EL CAPITAN 10.11 and it told me that the installation was successful but when I checked on Software Info (the Apple icon on the top left screen), it still shows Snow Leopard info 10.6.8. How is it? Is it just about the information not updated but the OS is in the background, or…?

hey i don't have anything like "install mac os x" on my mac i think i accidentally deleted it i've searched up on how to get it back but those techniques doesn't workout for me for example the command + r key fucntion doesn't work i've tried it multiple times but my mac just restarts and no settings appear, do you have a solution to this problem dude im tired.

I had a power shut down for about 15 seconds and my imac is not booting up anymore because it happened during the restart! Any advice? This computer was out of the box and I'd never used it !
