Yes u can put 8gb ddr4 x 2 making the total ram 16 gb. It will support frequency up to 2666mhz .

I noticed that your inbuilt RAM had a frequency of 2666 MHz (shows on the Samsung RAM module itself as well as CPUZ app.) whereas your upgrade RAM module is of 2400 MHz..Wouldn't this frequency mismatch cause issues ? Will Dual Channel actually work in such a scenario even if the Laptop detects both RAMs ? Planning on buying this laptop ,hence clearing a doubt. Thanks.

hello, sir Thank you for watching my content hope you subscribed to my channel... sir in this case I didn't have any mismatch issues. but the rams are not running in the dual-channel because I put an 8gb 2400mhz with 4gb 2666mhz ddr4 ram ,to correct this I will later add another 8 Gb 2400mhz ram making it16 GB ddr 4 2400mhz in total . this will make the laptop better and run it in dual channel mode, but for now, it is running very fine and good. one again Thank you for supporting.

@@zackrider9236 no sir I didn't know earlier that it supports 2666mhz ram so I bought 2400mhz 8gb ddr4 and paired it with already existing 4gb ddr4 2666mhz ram.😁 And sir amd ryzen 5 3500u is capable of 2400mhz but OEM manufacturers can alter it and increase the ram frequency , say in my case 2666mhz . This is a laptop from hp

Hi , no it doesn't have a separate graphics card , it's graphics is integrated into the processor. It is ok for engineering design softwares? No spend little bit more and u can get more awesome laptop . Like asus tuf x505 .

Sir first u have to open cpu z in ur pc , then u can see many options on the top like motherboard , memory, cpu etc ... Select the spd option then on the left top corner u can see a slot 1 just click that the other option for slot 2 will appear then if nothing is showing in the slot 2 then there is no ram installed in slot 2.
