Hello, Those ports are 'Plug & Play' and effectively active channels and therefore the only action that needs to be edited would potetnially be the password if the camera has been set to use a different password other than the NVR default one. If you have other network cameras you want to add to the NVR that are not connected directly via plug and play, then please update to latest frmware, go to 'Device Configuration' on the left - 'PoE Settings', then disable the PoE ports that do not have a camera connect directly to them. Following this, you will then be able to add network cameras to you system as you will now have free channels.
