@@rcjoe406 woah! I wouldn’t shoe goo one of these you’d wreck the performance, they’re already thicker plastic, plus they’re not gonna get beat up like a basher body so you’d just be adding weight for no benefit

Ya I thought about that afterwards maybe just paint the inside to stop the lights coming through..my marlin has a the same problem never bother me so might leave it alone its so pretty lol

Thanks for the super constructive response! Agreed, the time-lapse thing wasn’t as cool as we thought it might be when we filmed everything. I even had that thought while editing it - it was just kind of chaotic at that speed, but if I slowed it down it really dragged. I think if we do this kind of thing in the future we’ll just cut out a lot of the tear-down and whatnot and really focus on the parts of the install that might present problems or interest for people. As far as the first three upgrades, I think that will probably vary for the individual to some extent. We tried to cover the bases here with the best upgrades from the selection so far, but a prioritized order is a little trickier. The links and servo mount are good contenders, and that light kit is incredibly cool - seems like a no-brainer. I think the driveshafts are probably something you can just upgrade when you need to replace the stock ones, and the shocks are probably also something you could do when the stock ones present a problem. Similarly, though, you could probably just do the servo mount at some point when you change a servo. The order will kind of depend on your needs as you use it. We’re sort of planning our videos for the next year, and one of our thoughts for the spring was a series of videos on suspension tuning (springs, haha), so we’ll definitely try to work a small-scale shock video into that rotation. That modification sounds super cool! Maybe we’ll do some sort of call to action at some point to send us photos/video to share. It’d be really neat to showcase other people’s stuff at some point. In the meantime, though, send us some pictures to info@nankinhobby.com, we’d definitely like to see it when you finish!

I’ve seen a lot of guys printing, or buying, 3D printed light bars/buckets. Your mileage may vary but with some tinkering they can look awesome, I just don’t like cutting holes in my bodies… even if it’s hard to see it always sticks out like a sore thumb to me! But maybe I’m just not good at making it look right 😁
