Upma Pesarattu - MLA Pesarattu
Ingredients:-
Green Moong - 1 cup(soaked)
Rice - 1 tb spn
Onion - 1/2
Green chillies- 4
Ginger- 1/2 inch
Cumin - 1 tsp
Salt - To taste
Method:-
Soak Green Moong along with Rice for 4-5 hours or overnight. Then add them to a blender along with onion, chillies, ginger, cumin and salt . Then grind into a fine paste.
Now make Dosa with this batter and top it with cumin, finely chopped onion, green chillies . You can also add Upma to this.
Ginger Chutney
Ingredients:-
Ginger - 1cup(skinned & chopped)
Jaggery- 1 cup
Tamarind- lemon size
Chilli powder- 1/2 cup
Salt - 1/4 cup
Oil - 3 tb spn
Method:-
In a pan add Oil,ginger and sauté it. Now add tamarind, salt and jaggery and mix it well. Then turnoff the heat and melt the jaggery completely then add Chilli Powder and salt. Let it cool completely and grind into a paste. Adjust seasonings in the last . You can add tempering to this.
