Let's learn some upper-intermediate (B2) expressions to help you build your vocabulary.
I'll teach you the meaning, tell you how these expressions are used, as well as go over the pronunciation so that you can say them just like a native speaker.

I second that! Such useful phrases with great examples. What I appreciate the most is the pronounciation - there is so much I learn and can use in other phrases and words with better understanding. Thank you very much for that

As far as I'm concerned, You are one of the best English teachers I've got in my life, Mr.Wes :) I dunno whether It has crossed your mind or not but the way you speak English with such panache and finesse that It just takes my breathe away and solidify my belief that you have literally put your bones and blood into honing your English and now It's giving off the results. @InteractiveEng Wes, sir, I believe that “as far as I’m concerned” is far too common an expression to be considered B2. Be that as it may-which is a _real_ B2 expression, if not C1-as far as I really _am_ concerned, you’re my personal favorite online English teacher. 😇 Enjoy life, Wes! You only live once.

Yes, they are similar. But I think 'take one's breath away' is more appropriate with things that are beautiful. 👍

Yes, you can say "It didn't cross my mind," whenever you did not think of something. In this context, you would not say "I didn't get it through my head." Hope this helps. 👍

​@@samsamarakon4574You may use these idioms in different contexts as they are not synonyms. "It didn't cross my mind to ask him where he was heading". "He can't seem to get it through his head that I'm not interested in working with him."
