Facts💯 I knew Super Nat back then. He used to live on Degraw St. Between 5th and 6th Avenue in Parkslope Brooklyn. I was rhyming and producing back then. I lived on St. John's between 5th and 6th Avenue. Nat and I used listen to my bests and freestyle for hours picking random words out the dictionary and newspaper. This Brother is one of my all time favorite freestyle emcees. Hands down! If anyone watched the actual battle Super Nat actually won on lyrical skill. Because of the set up discussed in this video because Nat that to me is reason Nat so called lost. Listen to bars Super Nat won imho. Sun got lined up industry style that night. Big up to Kweli for this interview. One Love to Super Nat.

I have tremendous respect for Supernat and Craig G. I've been fortunate enough to see both of them rock the crowd. Living legends. They are the culture. And shoutout to Lyricist Lounge- they always put together great shows and a lot of those shows are free too.

Supernat was in a no win situation. If he would have thought logically and not battled Craig, people would have said that he was scared. But letting his ego and pride control him, he battled Craig not fully prepared and with Craig on go. Salute to Supernat though, his talent for spittin was on some next level shit!

Damn I remember that battle. I was a fan of Nat when he performed at Queens day in 94. Remembering him on the radio, when he did a dope Freestyle of Jeru The Damaja record Ain't The Devil Happy. The industry back then was cold blooded. You were always one verse away from being booed. #WeOutHereToCollect

Nah it ain't no touchy subject you went to the fuckin mecca of rap and got smoked simple and plain lol I use to know this guy personally he's from marion Indiana I lived in fort Wayne indiana me originally being from New York he lied to me and told me he was from the bronx so when he got cooked by Craig g the last convo we had he blew up at me about it not being where your from even though he was the one who lied about where he was from so I take this guy's truths with a grain a salt smmfh
