You probably should bulletproof and head stud your truck and build your transmission. Aftermarket cat back exhaust Kc turbo for Towing and a couple of tow tunes. Also, if you’re towing in “D” (Drive) uphill, then you’re not doing your transmission in stock form any justice. Also, You probably need to press your overdrive button it’s gonna help you lock up your torque converter and make Towing a lot easier. You never wanna tow heavy with your overdrive on with a old vehicle it destroys those old transmissions. Ford makes a good transmission, however doing what we do having a built transmission and understanding how to function the transmission features it makes our life a lot easier. Also if you’re looking into getting motor number four, if the one you just put in there ever blows up, look into kill devil diesel. They build their engines very well, and they have awards to prove it.
