Thank you for supporting my content. A deadline for the application was not mentioned. That usually means the application will remain open until enough applicants have applied for the position. There was also no indication that only 1 applicant was being hired for the position. However, if it was, that is still not a reason to disregard applying. You just may be the candidate to fit what UPS or any other company is looking for. Always include yourself in the running because you just may be the ONE to get picked. 🙂

If you paid attention to the job description, you'd see in the first sentence where it states that the CSR will resolve customer inquiries via email, research files, and data entry... Everything about this job is via email, including the interviewing of customers, consignee, etc. Now, if the issue is you not wanting to deal with customers at all... then I respectfully say that's a YOU problem. It's not a misrepresentation of a job offer on my end.

The only thing I can tell you is to apply for the position and if the company is interested in your credentials they'll call/email you back. Also, apply for multiple job opportunities (not just one) to increase your chances of getting hired with a company.
