I don't think so. Michael was very respectful of Diana. Most colleagues would not grab the mic from another performer, especially a huge star who has invited you to share her stage. I am sure at least the general outline of what Diana wanted was laid out. Diana seemed prepared to dance while Michael sang a little. People seem to love the idea that performers grab Diana Ross's mic. The Patti Labelle incident is another phony accusation. Diana clearly invited Patti to take over the lead.

This just shows how much the stage and the music is literally made for Michael Jackson. No matter how many good artists sing. All it takes is for MJ to get on stage, and he instantly just creates that aura and energy that causes the whole world to gravitate towards him.

It's amazing to see Michael come from out of the audience. This concert was taped in 1980 two years before Thriller. Michael was well known but not yet the super mega star that he was about to become. After the success of Thriller that's when Michael became the most famous person on Earth. Michael will hold that title until the end of time.

I have to mention this: Look at how *_BEAUTIFUL_* Jackson was! Everything about him - his form, his poise, his presence - was wonderful to behold. He performed for less than a minute and owned the stage every single second. He was born to do what he did.

If you ever seen a Michael Jackson concert you see kids of every race dressed up and imitating Michael Jackson because Michael Jackson was famous at every skin tone, black, lightskinned and white - afro, curl, long hair, short hair - everyone can be Michael Jackson.
